Summary: Raised in a temple with his sister. Was born with the gift to communicate with the gods, though it turns out to just be a good way to learn heavenly gossip. He believes in the gods obviously, and performs the rituals at his temple, therefore is religious, but he sees the gods just as weirdly flawed as mortals, different only in the fact that they have lots of powers. They're basically just strange friends to him, and he doesn't blame anyone who wants nothing to do with them, cause lordy do they have lots of problems. Seriously, he hears a lot about them from other gods. The other people at the temple are kinda used to hearing this boy talk about all this weird stuff, since he'd been relaying godly gossip since basically birth. They decided early on not to hold him up as some speaker of the gods for publicity or anything, since that's not really what they're all about. Their religious sect is pretty chill, and they all get along well that way.
