Rick Raithe is the Ex-Partner of John Myers and fellow CHR Soldier. Best friends quite soon after John entered the Church of Holy Revenant, Richard was there to help john through his trials and they soon became a steadfast, efficient team. However when John left the CHR (with resistance from Richard who could not release his ideals regarding non-humans) Rick, was left to fend for himself. He became gravely injured when he encountered a Pit Demon he COULD handle on his own, but who got the upper hand and possessed Richard for a short while when Richard begins to doubt, due to Johns views and words said to him when he left.

Following this, permanently scarred and quickly descending into morose, high-functioning PTSD and paranoia, Ricks resentment of John quickly grew. And so did his ability to kill the creatures that almost shook his faith.

Years later, after Johns wayfare into Vampirism, the CHR task Richard Raithe with the "Solomn Duty" of being the one 'dispatch' him from this world. Rick Raithe, only taking a brief moment to grieve the memories of his fallen ex-partner, accepts the task. And accepts John as his new target.

Present-storyline Richard Raithe is an unstoppable force. Almost fully blinded in one eye the day he doubted his beliefs, Rick no longer asks questions first. His record for dispatching non-humans post-injury is both monstrous and awe inspiring, his intimidating stature and freight-train determination giving him power to rival even Johns.

Personality wise, Rick Raithe is quite easy going, he takes care of his people and is highly intelligent and high-functioning in his sociopathy. There is no 'switch' flipped when interacting with his enemies either. Despite the hellfire in his eyes Rick will talk to you as if hes reading off a grocery list while hes mopping up the floor with your bloodied face. ***N/ Think; Tom Hardys interpretation of 'Bane.'
