Description of blessings and Annie:

The mirror spider is a species of spider found in all of (A)ustralia. It is quite small at around 3-4 millimetres and its abdomen is patterned with cream, green, yellow and red. These spiders feature reflective silvery patches on their abdomen. The scales look like solid pieces of mirror glued to the spider's black, but they can actually change size depending on how threatened the spider feels!

The boomslang snake is a large, venomous snake, with its common name meaning "tree snake". A female can lay up to 30 eggs which are left in a hollow tree trunk or rotting log. Male hatchlings are grey with blue speckles, and females are pale brown. When young they pose no threat, but they are dangerously venomous by the time they reach a length of around 45cm! The boomslang is a timid snake, and bites generally occur only when people attempt to handle, catch, or kill the animal. When confronted and cornered, it inflates its neck and assumes an "S"-shaped striking pose.
