Typically found alone in his garden or nursing baby animals back to health, Terence Brenner is a young, soft-spoken farmer who lives alone in the middle of the woods. He is the definition of a mountain man and a gentle giant. In fact, he's the self-proclaimed lone caretaker of the famed and treacherous Gallian Magic Forest. Unfortunately, as much as he loves nature, he can be more than a little rude, sarcasitc, and intimidating to people he doesn't know. He has dealt with substance abuse issues through most of his young adulthood that make him pretty rough around the edges, and his trust is difficult to earn, and but he's more than worth the effort. Around trusted friends he's kind, gentle and selfless. The sarcasm never goes away though.

Brenner is a man of few words- and those words are usually sarcastic or vulgar. But he’s a good guy. Multiple incidents in his childhood and young-adulthood have left him short on trust in people and the world around him, and this has sort of split him down the middle. There’s a Brenner that the world sees, and a Brenner that a very select, trusted few see when things are good. Public Brenner is curt, stoic, and frequently rude in an attempt to keep people from messing with him. Private Brenner is just as quiet, but much gentler and kinder. After enough time with him, you’d learn he’s a devoted pacifist, and he believes everyone is a good person until outside influence gets a hold on them. He loves animals and kids, and if he could he’d spend all of his time taking care of his garden. Honestly he’s such a sweetheart. Thankfully, after some therapy and good ol’ moral support from his friends, he manages to come out of his shell a little more in his 30s, and the outside world gets to see who Brenner really is more often.

Brenner is arguably one of the most skilled gardeners in recent Gallian history. His connection with the magic forest gives him an innate knowledge of how to care for plants of all kinds in addition to his naturally high capacity to be compassionate and nurturing. The land around his home is like a hidden utopia of wildlife and perfectly manicured foliage, and he spends his weekends selling rare flowers and fruits at the street market that borders his forest. Both of his thumbs are green.

Brenner is a jack of all trades, especially in the arts. He can draw and paint alright, and loves to sit outside drawing the wildlife that comes to visit him. He's a fantastic chef, though he's sort of useless at cooking most meat, seeing as he's essentially a vegetarian. He plays the piano pretty well too, and has a voice like velvet if you can convince him to sing.
