Lore: still in planning stage afnsk, but will be related to my World Lore and she’ll be guardian to Yagir! Personality be more quiet and stuff \\\ also tutor but is kinda strict and scolds him a lot for being lazy aha \\ good friends w Yagir tbh. She was sent by the Kirin tribe to protect / ‘stalk’ him tbh.
Was famous around a specific coastal rea for her attack power \ she was sorta like a small hero there 江湖俠客 hhhhh. One of the Kirin saved her one time and she’s protecting Yagir as thanks u-u
Has low ranking but rlly high power!

Personality
+ Hardworking; lol she'll gladly work 18 hrs a day if tht meant tht she'll get stronger by doing it
- Vengeful; 超記仇的 \\\ When someone offends / hurts her in any possible way, she'll remember it for a long time and will make sure that she gets her revenge no matter what u-u
+ Rlly big sister-like feel \o she's also a great tutor tbh, and will make sure that Yagir does what he should do, and if he doesnt, she'll give a very creepy smile and try her best to act scary (but she wont hit him no natter what u-u; she'll protect him w her own life)
+ Rlly protective of the weak; even if they dont want her protection, she'll help them and if needed, save them from dangers, even if the foe that she's facing is obviously out of her power to beat \\\\ 超江湖俠客 feel
+ She won't go challenge ppl without a reason tho; shes not the type tht loves to win and fight- shes the type tht wishes to protect ppl u-u
- Can't handle stress and peer pressure, but she'll try to be calm and cool in order to hide her fear, since she believes tht fear + sadness is a weakness and that you can get manipulated by it. But orz no she's not cold blooded; in fact, she reacts to emotions more vividly than others
- Freezes in front of large crowds \\ also can't handle too much expectations from others
+ She's actually prty cheerful and cute tho, but only when shes sure tht no one, except for ppl tht she trusts, is watching her since she believes tht it's a weakness as well \\\ normally she's just calm and quiet (kinda for 保持形象)
+ Detects lies easily and honestly trusts no one /w\ ; except for ppl who she has been with for a long time. Hates people who are acting suspicious / hides alot of secrets
+ When in public, her personality is like the calm waves of the ocean, smooth and quiet, but when on her own, shes like the playful ocean sprays, lapping against the shore- To anger her is to face the ocean's own wrath.

And she's prty good at it as well u-u She always goes fishing when she wants sone peace / is troubled :0c But usually lets the fish go after she fishes them up, unless she's fishing for food (tho if so she'll use her spear and not a fishing rod, as to her, it feels unnatural and thinks tht it's unfair for the fish)

Notes
Please read through these as some of them r rlly important to the design!!
- The neck ring is made of a cloth like substance thts unique to Birdfolk! But with the help of transformation magic, she can inflate and deflate it like an air sac whenever she wants to!
- She can fly for very short periods of time (but itll tire her out alot) after a takeoff, but she rarely does it and prefers to glide instead.
- When frightened, she tends to flap her fin-like wings while jumping backwards (kinda like a bird)
- She can swim very well and her speed in water is almost twice of her speed on land (which is decent due to her small size)
- She tends to leap and glide across rooftops when travelling during night (yes her agility is amazing). To her, the sky and sea is alot safer than land
- The spear that she loves with her whole soul is given to her by the person who had brought her up and taught her many skills. The spear tip is literally a tooth of a large underwater monster who is extremely powerful and mysterious. The tooth was a treasured object in his family and they kept it with pride, but the person still bound it to a weapon and gave it to her as a gift. Yes it's enchanted ofc.
- Even tho shes omnivorous, her canines (in humanoid form) r especially pointy and sharp
- The reason that her general design / special abilities are somewhat different from a typical Birdfolk's is because Aukai spent most of her life in this world and thus has adapted to it (special adaptations)
Powers
Natural Powers
- Transformation; she had 3 different full transformation forms! She can hold this transformation for up to an hour or so, then she will be forced to return to her natural form, or else her mana core will be in a huge risk of getting corrupted.
- These 3 forms are: A humanoid form, a draconic form, and her own, original, Birdfolk form. The draconic form is mainly used for fighting due to its amazing attack power, but it can also be used for better transport (flight). The humanoid form is mainly used to blend into the society and pass through unnoticed, as well as communication.
- Small Transformations; she can manifest ant kind of small transformations! For example, longer claws, gills, night / underwater vision, blood sensing abilities, etc. But the ones above are those that she uses the most and thus will be the easiest for her to manifest. In order to manifest other ones, she must learn it first by seeing a real version of that transformation. For example, to manifest a chameleon's tail, she would need to see a creature with that first in order to use the trait ONCE. If she were to use it multiple times like her usual small transformations, she would need to learn it throughoutly for at least a month.
- Magic; she can technically cast all sorts of magic other than transformation, but it'll heavily damage her mana core and cause corruption within it. However, if she were to use magic when she's not in her Birdfolk form, it'll do a lot less damage and will instead just damage the core by a little (Kinda like a small but sharp, stabbing pain).
Spear Powers
- Her spear contains magical abilities; by pointing the tip of the spear to the floor and think of water, it can summon a sudden blast of water (like a geyser) from the floor! This blast of water will come from the nearest water source, so the farther the source the slower it will appear. This blast, however, will only appear for about 5 seconds before it falls back to the ground and goes back to where it has come from. The pressure of the water in the blast is very high though, and can act as a huge water shield (nothing / no one can past through it; theyll all be knocked far away). This ability needs to be recharged though. (More details in the pic below)
Lore
In chronological order
- On a stormy night, a young Aukai was swept away by the waves from her homeland- Bahsk, the continent of the Birdfolk. As she struggled against the water, muffled screeches of her family could be heard in the distance, but to her, they were nothing more than a faint echo. As she thought that her life was melting away, a strange light began to illuminate her surroundings. A Portal was right below her, half buried into the seabed. It began to draw her to it's swirling mass of energy, and Aukai, who had already lost her conciousness, couldn't do anything but drift towards the Portal, unaware of where it would bring her to.
- The portal teleported her to another, entirely different world. Aukai lay there on the beach, completely unconscious as her life slowly ebbed away. At this moment, a dark shadow loomed over her, - a tiefling, in fact- his dark eyes shinning with curiousity. He was a famous hero around that area, known for his good deeds despite the fact that he was born of a demon lineage. And well, of course he saved her.
- The tiefling raised Aukai as his own child and taught her many skills, including how to defend herself and to read others' emotions. Her fishing skillz were also taught by him, as that was a hobby of his and he wanted to have someone to pass his skills to.
- Eventually, he managed to lead her to the right path of a folk hero. She would help him to scout around new areas, as well as patrol around the old ones. Aukai's fame started to grow among those whom she aided when the were in need, and soon gained quite a reputation.
- However, this happy lifestyle didnt last long.
- One night, the crows cawed. At midnight, when everything was still and quiet as if fearing for what that was going to happen shortly, a pack of thieves that belonged to a famous criminal cult around the area roamed the streets in search for the one they were assigned to kill. They moved as silent as snakes, and a dangerous aura emitted from their bodies, dreadful enough to make a grown orc quiver in fear. Soon enough, they found the victim's location.
