Shuusuke

A shy and soft-spoken boy of weak health, diagnosed with cancer at a young age. Due to his health, he spent a large amount of time indoors and at the hospital and dedicated his time to more traditionally "feminine" hobbies such as art and reading. Shuusuke struggled to relate with other boys due to being unable to partake in physical activites, and was often made fun of for being "weak and sissy". He has since developed a strong discomfort and aversion to interacting with other males.

As hard as Shuusuke and his family tried to extend his life through conventional and unconventional medications and practices, eventually he succumbed to his cancer at the young age of 20, though he does not have very much regrets other than not being to spend as much time as he would have liked to with his loved ones.
