SUMMARY
Night was offered in auction at the Human Auction House, minutes before Camie’s auction and its consequent incident with the Tenryuubitos and the Marines. Nobody did anything for her, but some people raised their hands to bid for her. In the end, a tall businessman won the auction, sir Anderssen Viktor. Eventually, during the commotion provoked by The Straw Hats, Night ran away along with the other freed slaves, but Night’s buyer caught her and took her away.
As she has been sold as a slave, Viktor put on a collar on her and took her to his quarters in an island close to one of the biggest Marine headquarters. Apparently Viktor knew her long before the Sabaody incident and that's why he bid for her in the auction. He proposed her that he'd take off her collar if she agreed to marry him, and she accepted. They moved to her hometown, where everyone accepted him as her fiancee.
A year after the Sabaody incident, back in Night’s hometown, a yellow submarine has docked, The Polar Tang. The Heart Pirates came running, Bepo carrying a severely injured Trafalgar Law in his arms, looking for medical attention. They were taken to the local hospital in which the chief herself performed the surgery to save his life. Once Law woke up, he recognized the doctor who saved him, it was Night.
When Law was discharged from the hospital, Night told him to leave the island immediately, due to her odd tone to say this, Law became suspicious, especially after seeing her wearing a turtleneck and sweatpants when she’d always wear dresses. He’d end up finding bruises and cuts she tried to cover up. He confronted her about it and that’s when she revealed her truth. The businessman who bought her at Sabaody, Sir Anderssen Viktor, forced her to marry him and give birth to his child. She was eight weeks pregnant at that moment, but some of her bruises were very recent. Law concluded that she’s been physically, verbally, and emotionally assaulted by Viktor. Law tried to convince her to leave her abusive fiance, but she didn’t listen to him, instead telling him again to leave the island forever. Law didn’t listen to Night’s warnings and stayed a few more days, trying to collect more information and make up a plan against Viktor and save Night.
One night, Law found her trying to run through the streets. She fell on the sand and he ran to get her. She was severely injured, with new bruises all over her body, signs of being assaulted yet again by Viktor, this time causing her to have a miscarriage of her unwanted child. She tried to speak, finally asking for help, but her voice was raspy. Apparently Viktor choked her. Law didn’t hesitate, he told Bepo to carry Night to the ship and prepare her for surgery. Meanwhile, Law left to Viktor’s home and confronted him. After an intense fight, Law won thanks to his devil fruit powers. He didn’t kill Viktor, but he amputated his hands and feet as a punishment so he wouldn’t touch Night or anyone ever again.
Viktor would live the rest of his days in a nursing home. He still works in business, but there's much he can't do. In revenge of that, since he has a lot of contacts in the Marine, he influenced in the rise of Law's and Night's bounty.
