The owner of Whose News, a used bookstore in the antiques district of South Rock, is an elusive figure. Rarely seen by customers, or even employees, the creature known as Indrid shows his face in the store, well, only once in a blue moon.
Those who have met him know him to be fascinating and erudite, knowledgeable in many subjects and an aficionado of history and lore. The one subject he refuses to speak in is his own past or background, and it is unclear if this is merely an affectation, contrived for the sake of maintaining his mystique, or whether Indrid actually has something to hide.
Indrid perennially hides his eyes behind a pair of tinted glasses, which he refuses to remove for anyone. However, if one were to catch him in the lamplight at just the right angle, perhaps you might spy a glimpse of what's behind.
They say it shimmers like the stars.
