Gale

Younger of Lomadia and Nilesy's twins, Gale grew up on the coast of Owl Island, or Cat Island, whatever their parents were calling it at any given time. Never far from the sea, and inheriting their parents love for animals and magic, Gale and his sister Aqua spent much of their upbringing playing on the beach, or helping take care of the various animals and magical plants that their parents cared for. As an adult, Gale still loves the beach and being outdoors, rarely spending all day sitting around inside. Athletic and adventurous, but not afraid of hard work, he'll explore the island he calls home- even if he does already know the place like the back of his hand- and continue to help out around the house with the animals and everything else.

Gale is kind-hearted and friendly, though perhaps a bit gullible at times. He's energetic and doesn't like being stuck in one place for too long. He can be a little boisterous around his friends sometimes, especially around Luxi, the pair being childhood best friends and very close, but he's usually fairly easy-going. As children, Gale, Aqua, Luxi, and Ena, were damned near inseparable, close together in age and all with similar adventurous spirits, they were very good friends and that friendship has lasted happily into adulthood.

Gale, like his mother, was born with a pair of tawny wings. As a child he could flutter about a bit and sort of fly, but as an adult he can't quite manage it. His wings just aren't big or strong enough to allow him to fly properly. He can, however, glide a bit if the wind is right, though he often over estimates exactly how capable of this he is, resulting in him falling flat on his face on more than one occasion.
