My friend's friend is also my friend~!
Cordierite is a bubbly and energetic, and sometimes cheeky kid. He always becomes the mood maker in the group. Generally he's as childish as any other children but surprisingly has a mature side to him. He can be noisy, but not loud. He can be nosy, but he knows where to draw the line. He notices changes to people around him rather quickly albeit he can be dense to realize what the cause is.
As a student, Cordierite is smart and quick witted. Just like any young kid at his age, he enjoys playing, learning (but not studying), and exploring new things. His curious and observant nature made him a skilled quick learner. He's only good at practical activities and memorizing, he's weak at anything that requires actual brain power such as calculating numbers or problem solving.
As an extrovert, Cordierite gets close to people fairly easily regardless of age difference. He's fun to the younger ones, polite to the older ones, and friendly to all. He's especially clingy and spoiled to those he thinks dearly. On the downside, he has little to no care for those who he doesn't care for. And worse, he holds a grudge against those who got on his bad side.
I'll gladly become 'evil' if it's what needed to protect those I love.
Cordierite's father was supposed to be the next king before the kingdom perished. Now his title is merely in name, however people still consider him the actual king of all Voids. Albeit only in name, he owns power and is highly respected by the people. And thus, Cordierite is often being called and treated like a prince by the citizens, that he often forgets and becomes sheepish each time.
Born into such a family, he has everything spoonfed. Wealth, love, food, everything you could name. His father is strict, but sweet and loving. His relatives are all friendly and caring. The servants can be scary but doting. There are three pet cats he loves so much. The only flaw in his life so far is the absence of his mother who died right after giving birth to him.
Cordierite often feels sad and lonely especially on his birthday. He never had the chance to experience a mother's love, he didn't even have the chance to see her face. The only thing he could do is simply ask his father about his mother's stories. He really loves listening and imagining her figure as told in the story. It was nothing grand but she's almost like the heroine of a fairytale he adores so much.
Despite having everything ready for him, Cordierite was taught to obtain anything he wanted by making efforts. He learnt early that power comes with equal responsibility. Although, he has yet to know that not every effort, no matter how much it is, will be rewarded….
