Kaliyah grew up in a rich family and has inherited a very large sum because of that too, although she keeps quiet about it and donates most of it to charities and people that actually need the money. She's an actual witch and mixes her own potions in her house and is accompanied by a talking black cat she has lovingly named Annoyance. She used to have an arch nemesis, Danielle Pearce (Rosie's sister) but due to a series of events, their rivalry has turned into a hook up which has then turned into an actual commited relationship. They do not live together yet but they spend a lot of time at each other's places. Kaliyah also works as a tattoo artist and piercer at a local studio as a side job.
