Profile
Kyra is young, brash, and aimless. She doesn't really know who she is or what she wants, so she wanders from place to place and focuses solely on the 'now'. Instant gratification is a lot easier to pursue than the answer to 'what is my purpose in life.' She's a killer, though not out of any particular desire to harm others; it's just her most employable skill. She does, however, enjoy messing with people; irritating them, pulling pranks on them, freaking them out... If everyone's going to hate her anyway, she may as well give them a proper reason to, right?

Raised by her father in a small house outside of a farming town, they were mostly isolated for her entire childhood. The townsfolk immensely distrusted the two, believing her to be the spawn of some sort of evil thing. Even so, her father did the best he could for her, and always treated her well, but there was always a wall between the two and Kyra suspected he only kept her at all as some sort of promise to her mother. He never told Kyra about her or what she was, even on his deathbed, leaving her to wander out into the world and attempt to put the pieces together herself at the tender age of 15.
She found she enjoyed traveling and made her living through thievery, which she seemed to have a natural talent for. Her life seemed to look up once she got caught stealing from a more upscale house. Instead of calling for her execution, the lord of the manor offered to forgive her and send her on her way if she'd kill a man causing trouble for him. She agreed, and completed the job quickly and cleanly. Noting her lack of remorse and seeing the potential in young Kyra, he offered her a job. Keep killing for him and he'd provide her a home and food. She accepted happily, living there for a year before leaving without a word, on to the next city and new trouble.
