Chad joined the Navy at 18 and was active duty for four years, and though he enjoyed every minute of it he found he got too homesick for his friends & family to keep it up. These days he works full time as a dancer at the local club, (being the attention-loving guy he is he kind of jumped at the chance to do it when he was told he'd be good at it.) Though he doesn't like the "daddy issues" stereotype that most "exotic dancers" are attributed to it maybe does stem from that somewhat...his dad was NOT cool with it at all when he found out in high school that he was gay, and this is a little bit of a "fuck you" to him. XD When he got his own apartment he also took in his little brother after their parents kicked him out for being too much of a deadbeat.

• Though he isn't exactly a "health nut" he is very fit and tries to eat healthier food & keep in shape. He goes to the gym almost daily and is a bit more "buff" than he is in his original/canon storyline.
• Just as his brother is addicted to Red Bull, Chad is way into Gatorade, especially the fruit punch flavor.
• He is crazy for his boyfriend, Tommy!
• Though he still has some anger/temper issues, he is on the whole more well-adjusted in this AU than in the canon story...just being himself instead of having to "live a lie" and force himself to date girls while being terrified of everyone finding out the truth makes for a happier Chad. XD
• He has a closer relationship with Geoff in the AU as well, for a lot of the above reasons. They always had each other's back when their dad was an asshole, rather than Chad just...using him as a punching bag for no reason lol
• He drives a bright ass yellow pickup truck!
