Tomoko is one of Mila's good friends from her days as an angel. Despite having a much higher rank than her, she always treated her with respect and wanted to help her become a guarding angel instead of a fighter. Tomoko herself posesses strong healing magic, though wields a staff instead of a cross like Mila does. Even after Mila was banished, she continued looking out for her and sometimes visited her on earth.

After she moved in with Nemesis though, it got much harder for Tomoko to be around Mila and her newfound friend. She suspected it was because of Nemesis' dark aura as a human, but little did she know that Nemesis was actually a demon in disguise. She has had a crush on Mila for a long time, thus a love triangle ensues. But even though Mila falls for the cool and mysterious Nemesis at first, she later realizes that Tomoko is the one she has a real connection to.
