Aloyse is far, very far from being a bad person. Yet, the first impression people have of the Baku is usually not so evidently positive. In fact, some are even intimidated or scared of the young person. And for good reason: she's not quite the friendly, gentle character.
She's genuinely kind, and she has a strong sense of justice and sorority/community. Anyone engaging in a longer conversation with the young person would notice she's good-willed and very commited to other's well-being. Yet, she comes off as very cold in most instance, sometimes even harsh. At first you'd think she's a quiet kid, a shy young lady... In fact, she's mostly closeted and always on some kind of guard.
Sure, the Baku is extremely mature for her age. With her steady poise, her resilience, her assertive handling of pressure and her extreme autonomy, she has an immensely charismatic presence for a 5'5" figure in her late teens. However, if you manage to peek a bit longer through the closet doors, Aloyse is in fact... Quite vulnerable, and very aware of it. The ice armor she gave herself is here for a reason, and she still carries the heavy weight of those who had to mature too fast in an unkind world.
At least and despite her stone-cold appearance and self-restriction, she's rather sociable. She's a great listener and generally pleasant company. Aloyse has quite the artsy taste along with the chill and cozy vibe she gives off. Even though she's more of a calm parent-friend archetype, she loves some peppy and over-the-top company.
She has a sharp-tongue and a great comeback, and can be very entertaining to gossip with. However and before all things, she's a reliable friend for those who make it happen.
LIKES
+ Soft and dreamy aesthetic, origami and other crafts, reading, watching movies, cozy and chill afternoon with friends, fashion, polaroid pics, simple things, quiet intimacy, sky-gazing and trying to predict the weather in the shape of the clouds, tagging plain walls in the night, work-out, listening to Joaquin explaining rock-science things with a lot of passion
DISLIKES
- Eating dreams, her poor health, loneliness, feeling lost, being seen as vulnerable, coffee (unless heavily sweetened and with a lot of milk/cream but what's the point then), loud and harsh noises, musician playing way too loud during small concert, being very bad at roller-bladding >:(
Trivia
- She gets sick when she doesn't eat dreams for a while... or even in general, as she has a very fragile health.
- She gets sick easily, and takes a lot of time to recover. She can be affected by dizzy spells very often when she's tired, and she's very prone to exhaustion.
- She tends to burn herself out as a constant "only" to keep up with the pace of her life (or so she thinks). As a result, she's resilient and sturdy but gets in really bad shape very fast once she crosses her last line... It doesn't help with her health issues, obviously.
- She studies psychology, she'd like to be a therapist at some point... But that's still pretty vague in her head, and not a super well defined project. In fact, as the first years of her bachelor's degree didn't go very well, she considers switching.
- She works out a lot. She's pretty strong and sturdy, and has surprisingly toned arms, legs and shoulders!
- She likes to read smutty fanfictions out loud with friends because it's very funny.
- She usually wears big coats and parkas. That's a relevant part of her inner style. She's the parka man.
- She really likes fashion in general, and is very eager to go thrift-shopping with Elias and Kapito or try new outfits <3
- She burried alive all notion of respect at least 5415331 times through her life. Rude people or people who think they're so much better deserve a masterclass of "think before you speak next time, peasant" every so often.
- She falls asleep easily if in the right setting. Sleep can happen within 2 minutes in optimal situations.
- She's quite the heavy sleeper, and easily sleeps through her alarms.
- She's not especially grumpy when she wakes up, but very untalkative until she had breakfast + got her morning routine done.
- She's very insecure about her vulnerability, or her downs in general. She's only really confided into her close friends (Elias, Joa', Kapito and Tinyl) and Karaci.
- She's emancipated since her 16s. While her parents weren't physically violent, she grew up in a generally very abusive and abrasive household.
- She lives on her scholarships grands, gov. allocation and financial helps, and little jobs during school breaks. It's not the most comfortable situation, and even though it's hard for her to admit, it brings her a lot of peace to be able to spend time at Elias'.

Powers & abilities
· Aloyse can eat dreams and nightmares - Actually, she pretty much has to if she wants to stay healthy. Eaten dreams are forgotten, or only leave a vague, blurry memory.
RELATIONSHIPS
"I don't like to... hierarchise my friendships. But Elias is special, honestly. We have a super strong bond and a super titanium confidence in each other. I trust him literally more than anyone."
To be fair, Aloyse and Elias have always had some kind of matching personality and character. It feels like they've known each other forever! And it feels like they can read right through each other, and see a part of themselves in it. It's comforting.
"They feel like home. A disaster home with suscpicious looking dishes in the BBQ grill outside, burnt pasta in the kitchen, a road traffic cone next to the plant for some reason, and parodic music like Fatal Bazooka or something playing loudly on the TV. But home nonetheless. The kind of home you will never forget and don't want to leave."
Sometimes you just gotta be the supervisor of a wild pack of chaotic entity, it's worth it because they bring you so much in return.

Karaci is a rock. A steady, unshakable figure, who never forced himself into Aloyse's life but somehow immediately became a point of reference. As an emmancipated kid with a very difficult familial background, she hated the idea of leeching into a "new parent" (she certainly didn't need it!)... She was horrified when, in a tougher spot of her life, she started crumbling in front of him. But in the end, he offered her just the support she needed and a shoulder to rest against for a while. He never made it sound like he found her weak or immature... but the resting stone he became for a moment helped her a whole lot.

Lukman passed by the center like... once. Aloyse and Kapito have been incredibly insolent. Aloyse, obviously, was roasting him with sass and class, because she's like that. Kapito was more straight forward, because Kapito has no filter and no social skills. But somehow, it didn't go too bad... From what Kap says, Lukman is pretty cool to hang with.

She doesn't know Tengu as much as Joaquin, but she's seen him several times, and he's a great friend. A real joy to have around.
➜ FLOREN - ACQUAINTANCE & ROLE MODEL"He's super nice. He's the one who welcomed me to the LGBT+ center. I don't know him that much but he's nice."
Aloyse doesn't know Flo much, but she appreciates the ent. He's a pretty neat role model, actually. But like, still very easy to talk to him.

She emancipated herself as soon as she was legally old enough to do so. Isn't that good enough of an information to understand the deal??
