Aeronwyn

• Her spines are rubbery and soft! Not sharp
• Her pawpads are oddly sticky...allowing her to stick to surfaces, for a time anyway.

Aeronwyn is a curious and attentive young dragon-creature who's curiosity for the world of magic is rivalled only by her great desire to uncover a great mystery that has run in her family for generations. She has never been bitter about her own lack of magical ability, and wants nothing more than to learn as much as she can in any situation. She's extremely observant and good at listening, and even if she seems distracted its a guarantee she's absorbing everything going on around her.

She's a great problem solver-something that certainly comes to her benefit since she tends to spend a lot of her time crawling through old magical ruins and delving deep into caves in search of artifacts left behind by the old mages and the gods.

She has very strong instincts- and rarely gets steered wrong by her intuition- she has the tendency to make choices that turn out well for her, whether its due to her strong logistical thinking or just due to gut feeling.

She is rather absorbed in her work and desires to explore magic, so she tends not to have many friends or be particularly social. Not because she doesn't want to be- but because she doesn't really have the time to keep up relationships. She does have a good network with the local travelling traders, who often give her the supplies she needs to keep going in exchange for whatever goodies she'd found in temples recently. 

Aeronwyn's father was a bounty hunter for magical artifacts. Teaching her his craft early on after her mother passed away, leaving him with no other option than to bring his daughter with him into dangerous temple dives. While he searched for these relics for money- Aeronwyn took a different approach. She was just fascinated with their magical and educational value, instead. She took to searching for things to hide away from her father and study.

Eventually, she left her father to work on her own, forging alliances with the magical school of ipus. She'd gather artifacts and turn them over to the mages, who would in turn research them and tell her anything she wants to know about them.

It didn't keep her from hiding away a few things for herself, of course.
