Quite honestly a sweetiepie upon first impression. They’re incredibly friendly but only helpful when there’s something in it for them in return. They happen to very much like shiny things and won’t hesitate to steal then tell a blatant lie that they didn’t do it. They’ll even help you search for the thief to no avail, simply to cover for themselves and seem like a good friend.

History

Before this story begins, it's important to understand the reasoning for the changes in their life. This little driftling was born female, but when they ran away from home at a very young age they found it beneficial to use to cover of being a male. It wasn't until they found themselves in a pirate crew that they realized that this was who they truely were and decided to become a trans male. And now, we'll let this story begin...

Once upon there was an infamous pirate crew known as the Silver Crows, lead by a driftling that went by Ezra. They were known by their crew as simply "Crow". They were a problem and it caught the attention of the authorities, who had the worst time catching these pesky pirates. Ezra had honestly thought they were immune to such capture... but it took the betrayal of one of their crew to bring an unfortunate fate to the entire crew. They were ambushed at a port they frequented for much needed supplies and captured. It was almost too easy.

Ezra along with their crew were set for execution and all hope seemed lost... but on the day of the execution an opportunity for escape was born. (Which I still need to flesh out and might need another drift child.)

In their escape they came upon a town that housed a cute little cafe, where they hid and uh... stole a few bits of food. Felix was far from happy when he discovered this and a little quarrel broke out, but with the mans good nature he offered an agreement that he'd provide food and cover for the runaway in exchange for their work in the cafe.

Today

When Ezra met Felix, that was the moment when they took on the name Esther as an alias to hide their true identity. He didn't mind that of course and gladly calls them by that name or the pet name "Hunny" that the customer's gave them.

Early on Felix had initially wanted help in the back, but unfortunately he found out pretty quick that the pirate couldn't be trusted in the kitchen. They were banished to only work the register or more commonly bringing out treats and drinks to customers. (Yes, he's noticed Esther trying to yoink cash from the register and bops them on the head and scolds them. He has a strong belief that people can change.)

They live in an asian inspired home complete with a koi pond. It's pretty flashy for someone trying to be in hiding but-- they don't really seem to think about that part. Most of what they own was either stolen or bought with money gained by selling stolen goods. They can't help themselves and more often than not pick pocket and steal things that catch their eye.
