- A handful of a yokai that inhabits Ayakashi's thicket. Lives in the mud along the riverbank, or occasionally in the river itself if Sunekosuri is around digging for clay.
- Covered in fur but its prickly and bristly. Holding it is like handling a very soft chestnut or sea urchin.
- Clearly its just a young adolescent something, but tiny somethings generally grow up into bigger somethings so its probably best to leave it alone.
- If you listen really hard when it rains you can hear it crying.
