Backstory |
| - His mother died during childbirth which was considered a bad omen by the kingdom. - The kingdom didnt have their expected rainfalls and crops began to wither, Amaro was blamed but Verad held fast that it wasnt his fault - This just continued to get worse. The people were starved, the drought had killed livestock and crops. The snows got worse and frequent - Verad looked to his god for guidance and came to the conclusion that it must be Amaro's doing and conceded to kill the child. - Verad went to his only son but couldn't bring himself to do it, so he told him to walk east into the snow and never turn back. After this message he threw himself from the castle and fell to his demise - The people became crazed with the loss of their king and started to attack and cannibalise one another, whilst little Amaro hid - At the end of the massacre Amaro came out from the castle and with no other ideas of what to do he followed his fathers words and walked - Luckily for him a traveling band of merchents happened to be passing through a ways from the kingdom and saw little amaro struggling against the winds and snow. - They took him and realised he was a demon from a very old and believed to have been extinct race, which meant he would go for a very good price - Once again fate stepped in however, as word of Amaro made its way to Ivertii, who knew this kid is going to get bought and eaten if he stayed in Farlazn and planned a quiet escape for the boy, having him smuggled to Terra - Once there Amaro was bounced around a number of foster homes. His abrasive nature never allowing him the opertunity to find a permanent home - At around 15 however he would be living in a nice quiet town where he would meet Hasselti, who would open his home to him for whenever he needed an escape. Eventually Amaros foster parents would come to Hasselti and ask him to adopt the child, and Hass, seeing a bit of himself in Amaro, agreed. |
