- Although technically a prince Venkat spent much of his time helping out through odd jobs when he was younger. He didn't really have the luxury of relaxing.
- Most of Venkat's scars were actually received accidentally. He was pretty clumsy as a kid and got hurt often. Only a few of them are from training accidents.
- Ven wasn't always so negative towards humans. It was only after trying to work things out and being denied and ignored he started to harbor ill will.
- Venkat loves Seila a lot. He trusts no one more, and she's often the one keeping him tethered to reality. Wants nothing more than for all the conflict to be over so he can just live a normal life...
On the outside and upon first meeting Venkat seems like a very cold person. He's often very serious and rarely smiles around others never dancing around topics in conversation. In reality, Venkat is a rather empathetic person (particularly to those he feels responsible for) but because of his upbringing and past has felt that pushing down and swallowing his feelings is the best thing he can do for people at the current moment. Many that he deems as friends and good people know that despite his tough exterior, he can be a kind person.
Because of his status (basically being a prince) Venkat has a lot on his shoulders and feels responsible for the very survival of his people. Feeling backed into a corner, Venkat is willing to take drastic measures to ensure their survival even if it means becoming a villain in the eyes of some. He respects his parents greatly, but actively disobey's them and feels they aren't doing enough to help everyone. In reality he feels as if he can really only confide in Seila, his fiance, and Neas.
Venkat was born on the planet Magnus but, when he was very young, he and his people (called the Magnarians by humans) were forced off the planet when large amount of settlers from Earth decided to wage a war for control of the planet. Since that time Venkat grew up with a small colony of his people on a barren planet where survival was always a fight. Food and water were scarce, and many would die through the years shrinking their numbers even further. Because of their extremely long lives Venkat grew up experiencing much hardship and seeing his people suffer much, which gave him a strong hatred towards humans for what they forced his people into. This hatred would go on to make Venkat feel as if the only way to save his people would be to take back Magnus.
Venkat, being essentially a prince to the small amount of Magnarians left, received a thorough education which he would use to plan preperations to take back Magnus. Many of the younger generation would side with him including his fiance Seila (a poor girl who he often helped out in the past) and his closest friend Neas (a knight he grew up with from a young age). Peace talks had been going on for years without proving fruitful, and so Venkat began contacting others on earth to act as spies for him. Through this he managed to gather a lot of information about what life on Magnus was like now. Particularly useful was information on how to knock out communication networks and cripple everything and everyone. The toughest challenge, though, was gathering enough military force to launch a successful attack. Only when he managed to get a good size army did Venkat feel confident enough to launch his attack.
Venkat's fiance who he's known for a long time. He often visited her parents attempt at a farm to help out with Neas and the three of them grew very close. She's very kind, and worries about Venkat going too far.
Venkat's close friend who acted as his guard and friend from a young age. Venkat often confides in Neas and asks him for advice, though it's happened less and less since the start of the war. Like Seila, he worries about Venkat going too far.
Despite his dislike of humans, Venkat recognized he would also need their help. He allied himself with a select few who would act as spies including Rio, who he considered to be one of the best and most important to the operation. Rio would disappear mysteriously, but by that point Venkat was already ready to go.
