Batsu is calm, collected, and a genuinely kind person. His aloofness can throw people off and make them think he doesn’t care, but is deeply invested in his friends. He is the dad friend of the group, probably stemming from his protectiveness of Alice, who is only a child. He met them because he took up a babysitting gig (to take care of Alice) and they became genuine friends afterwards. Batsu is still like a caretaker to them, similar to an older brother.
He is also very brotherly to Cheryl, who is naive to earth and needs guidance. Batsu happily helps guide her, and teaches her all the important things, from how to dial on the phone to where to find the best taco trucks.
He loves big hoodies, sick guitar solos, and fruitcake. He dislikes horses, grape kool-aid, and people commenting on his hair.
