About

One of the few younger people aboard the Archaean in its original crew that actually joined of her own seeking them out, as opposed to being scooped up out of poor situations. Kirin was quickly renowned among the crew as someone who had little issue doing a lot of the heavy-lifting- most likely due to her Thuldrin racial capabilities- and so she easily found a home on the ship, but it was when in a combat situation she stole the incredibly-heavy weapon of an enemy’s heavy gunner and shot him down with it, before proceeding to wreak havoc among the enemy ranks, that she firmly solidified her place among the crew. When the uprising was to be had, led by Avrom, Jedhin, and Merihk, she easily followed their lead- it was the best thing to do for the crew’s sake at the time. Since then, her spot has stayed even through to the Archaean’s new leadership, and over the many years that her voyage has been going for, and it’s set to remain that way for a long while.

Skills

Heavy Hitter

Kirin’s use of heavier weapons, such as machine guns and the like, makes her a perfect front-liner, as she can mow through the first line of idiotic enemies who think to just rush in to the ship. She is always quite amused when this happens.

Thuldrin’s Constitution

Thuldrin are a naturally hardy race, with the ability to withstand a lot of physical trauma, which makes Kirin quite the tank when it comes to combat. She’s best situated at the front, with her allies behind her, and that’s how she prefers it either way.

Intimidating Aura

As a Thuldrin, no one truly knows what her face looks like. That fact, in addition with her sheer size and her personality, are a combination strong enough to make just her wordless presence a terrifying experience to outsiders should she position herself correctly in the room. She uses this to her advantage quite a bit.

Trivia

• Like most Thuldrin, while her first mask was made for her by her parents, every mask thereafter was made by herself, and she has quite a knack for designing and crafting them. This would make her quite a prize by Thuldrin standards, but she’s never been one to conform to her race’s standards in that way.
• Despite her outward appearance, she is notably one of the cuddliest members of the Archaean when there is no battle to be had. Wherever she might be, if you’re having a bad time, just hug her- she will reciprocate for as long as you stay there. Don’t lie down beside her while she’s asleep, though- you’ll never be able to leave.
• She keeps her guns very close in her heart, and is very protective of them. She has a private ‘locker’ area where her machine gun and her rocket launcher, and all of her other guns, are stored. Merihk has put a marker over the front of the door to make sure no one enters that room, out of fear of a repeat incident from the last time…
• She has more than once used her mask as a way to hide her being asleep, she has become a master of the skill of sleeping-while-standing-up, especially considering her usual habits of wall-leaning that can be used to disguise her sneaking in mid-day naps. She’s only been discovered once, but Andraea promises never to tell.
