Backstory: Iris grew up in England, with her two parents. Iris always knew she was different; she had been able to communicate with animals from a young age. Her parents figured that it was just a stage she was going through as they could not hear the animals speaking themselves so they did little about it.  It wasn’t until Iris reached primary school that she realised that her ability to communicate with animals was strange as many of the other kids began to tease her. After realising this she never mentioned her talent to anyone except her best friend Gemma.

When she was thirteen years old she met Anna.  Anna was a senior student at Iris’s high school. At the time Iris was doing volunteer work at the local animal shelter with Anna and the two grew to be fairly close. After noticing Iris’s clear talent with communicating with animals, Anna revealed that she was Sailor Maia, a Sailor Senshi. However, it was not until a month later that Iris eventually learnt of her true identity as Sailor Taygete. She worked with Sailor Maia to track down the rest of their sailor team, forming a particularly close bond with Sailor Celaeno (Alyssa). During this time she also learnt of her past life as one of the Peladies, a group of seven sister stars that worked together to protect their part of the galaxy. In their past life they were rather good friends with Queen and Princess Serenity until the fall of both of their kingdoms. Since her power has built over communicating with animals Iris has since built a guardian animal like connection with a bunny named Silky who bears the same planetary symbol as Iris.

Personality: She’s free spirited and sassy, she doesn't let people mess with her or her friends. At times she can be rebellious and questioning which sometimes people take as rudeness. Though at heart, she has a caring nature especially towards animals. She thrives on being around both people and animals and can become upset if away from either for too long. She is both thoughtful and determined. She can also be a little immature at times and a little bit of a party animal.

Hobbies: Animal care, and music (particularly singing and playing the flute).
Likes: Spending time with people and animals, singing, partying, going to the spa.
Dislikes: When people boss her or her friends around, horror movies, sports.

Henshin Item and Description: Pleiades Star Brooch- An ornate carved star shaped brooch which has a light green gem inside it which lights up during her transformation.
Henshin Phrase: “Taygete Star Power, Make Up!”
Henshin Description:She raises her brooch into the air then taps the star and yells her Henshin phrase. Her brooch then begins to light up before engulfing her in a bright green and pink light. A green coloured star appears and snakes it’s way around her entire body forming her sailor fuku.

Weapon and Description: 

• Piper’s Flute:  Appears to be a normal silver flute, there are two bands around it that are the colour of Taygete’s fuku.  The flute can be played as both a normal musical instrument as well as  be used as a weapon. She carries it with her at all times, whether it’s in her jacket, a bag or just her jean pocket.

Attack Names and Descriptions: 

• Pipers Melody:  Depending on the intensity of the tune is able to put the victim under a spell and allows them to be controlled by Sailor Taygete for the duration of the tune. If used for too long though, it can drain a lot of Taygete's power. It also can have only a small effect on some creatures/ monsters.
• Call Of The Wild: She raises her flute into the air, it lights up. Then she tosses it into the air and it spins. • Pipers Summon: She holds her flute to her chest and blows along the top of it, this draws on the powers of nearby animals to grow her powers, before creating a beam of light that can be directed at enemies.
