Before everything else, Zephie was known as a nameless young kid who steals for a living that lives in the alleyway along with some stray cats. He would steal money and food to survive, sometimes bought some tidbits for the cats that would always follow him around. Zephie wouldn't mind living in a terrible enviroment as long he gets to life his life. Though, who knew that the young Zippur's desicion on stealing a certain someone's money would screw him up big time. The Zippur too honestly felt like he screwed up with his life even more when that someone made a desicion to bring the kid back home as an adopted child. Zephie was later given his current name, though he was kind of forced to life his life like a young prince without freedom for the rest of his chidhood... though he wasn't that sad because he made some childhood friends there, and he still hangs out with them until this day, professionally or personally.

Following Zephie's adoptive father sudden disappearance when Zephie just turned 19, Zephie inherited his adoptive father's riches, including the mansion he's residing in. Zephie too was given the responsibilty to take over his adoptive father's assassin guild, Fonce. He didn't want to get himself involved with such a big responsibility, but he didn't want to disappoint anyone who expected something from him, and he was told that his childhood friends' actually were part of the guild, and were eager to help out. Zephie finally gave in and took what his adoptive father left off, and everything else there seem to go well.

A decade has passed, Zephyrus has completely become a figure in the underworld that people respects yet fears. Underworld business aside, he's also having a decent personal life with his significant other, his adopted son, and a messy army of domestic and stray cats, and he's loving it. Zephyrus is always aware that he would never get his name and his current state if he didn't meet his adoptive father. He's actually still bothered and is still looking for his adoptive father, hoping that he's still alive and well.

At first, Zephyrus was offended that he's called as "Shorty" or "Midget" by this giant cat alien. He swore to himself that he'll absolutely kill that annoying fellow even if it would cost his sense of justice. He hated the guy, but he ended up liking the latter's personality a lot, and ended up writing a love letter to him. A lot has happened, but they accepted each other's differences, and at last, they're happily married and currently living together happily with an army of cats and an adopted son.

It was not known where Zephyrus picked up the young Zippur but the young Zippur felt like he's indebted to both of his parents. Zephie finds that he might need some time to explain to the young boy about his parents and the reason behind them having two houses, but on overall, they're really close with each other and with their cats too.

Zephyrus met Ryan a long time ago when Ryan was 11. He was the person responsible on picking up the young kid who passed out with a bloody knife. He's also the person who was in charge of Ryan's training on controlling his emotions. To Ryan, Zephie's somewhat more to a kind and caring big brother than a superior, and for Zephie, he treats the latter as a little brother figure, and would do whatever he can for the boy's happiness and wellbeing.
