Patientia is, to say the least, an oddball. Her appearance and first glances often paint her as kind and girlish. While this may be true in a way, in reality she is extremely intelligent, calculating, patient, and strangely unwavering. She remains largely unphased by surprises or things that would typically be considered grotesque. Physically, at least, since it’s difficult to tell what the Dream Lord is really feeling and thinking at any given moment. She has never lost her temper either, which leaves her with a cool head when dire decisions must be made. Unfortunately this also leaves her with a lack of understanding for others feelings at times, as she prioritizes what would be most efficient over personal grievances.

When serious she tends to be pragmatic and determined, lacking all shame, and willing to cast aside pride and use whatever means necessary in order to achieve goals. Despite this, an air of casualty and nonchalance follows her wherever she goes, which may often paint her as carefree and a little airheaded. She always has a reason for everything she does, even if she’s the only one that understands that reason. She seems to be fairly aware of her eccentricities and that her typical behavior doesn't follow normal conduct. As such she rejoices when people support her or encourage her, especially those close to her, greatly valuing their friendship, albeit in her own ways. All in all, she is a sweet and free spirit who prefers to live life in the slow lane and enjoy all it has to offer, even if she gets herself lost because of her terrible sense of direction.

Abilities

strengths

• Able to repel nightmares and close nightmare rifts.
• Can freely walk the dream realm and reality, however she is unable to enter the nightmare realm.
• Can manipulate her form, but not too far from her original appearance
• Able to remove and consume bad dreams and nightmares from mortals.
• She is also able to eat good dreams and memories, but as a Dream Lord it is forbidden.
• Hair and waist appendages feel less like hair and more like a smooth substance, which tends to split and blend together as if it were perpetually under water. The rectangular bands can stretch and squish and are able to grab things and block attacks.
• She can also cause people to hallucinate, although this works better on those with weak wills or minds. She can cause them to hallucinate pretty much anything that pertains to any of a mortals senses.
• Can float, though not too high for very long.
• Has figured out how to speak Marespeak after much studying.

weaknesses

• Her mental abilities have no effect on mechanicals (robots) or the mindless (zombies)
• Like a nightmare lord, she can be trapped using Concord mind prison technology. Although, there is really no need, as she is not hostile.

Relationships

Entrophia [ENEMY - ESTRANGED] [▶]
Entrophia and Patientia are polar opposites in practically every way. While Tia is a warm summer day, Phia is a cold winter night. And yet, they used to be as close as sisters. In the current day, Patientia regards her with at the very least, remorse and immense regret. Tia fears Phia has forgotten what she once was, and despite her endless patience she deeply worries for Phia’s fate. The two have not spoken in years.
