Thank you so much for writing here! I love your writing, and I'm still so grateful for the lovely story you wrote for Iris! I have to admit that in case of this character, I'm only looking for a design trade in similar aesthetic, until I finish working on a new story for him. I'm really sorry for that.
Ooh I love prince characters, and I think Aurelius is a really nice one! I find the fact he doesn't see the fact he fled as a bad thing a pretty original detail, and it tells us a lot of stuff about his character from the start! Same with how you mention where his skills as a tactician comes from! I especially like how you mention the fact he came back to his country because of his ongoing war super... sweet of him? Despite the fact he fled, he still cares, I love it ;o;
His bird and his rat also sound super cute, I'd love to see them with him, one day! Overall, I find his design beautiful and fitting to his character; I'm always down for some cool capes!!
I have a question, though: since he's listed as a human, what's with the deer ears and antlers? I get he's an adopted character so you haven't designed them in the first place, but is there a in-story reason why he has them?
I'm so glad that you think so! Thank you so much! I plan on writing about that particular part more, but I'd like to develop Echo and his siblings more first! Since they all play a very important part in this too.

Deer ears and antlers are more for the aesthetic than anything else. I just love drawing animal ears, so a lot of my characters have them, without any reason for that in their story. I also sometimes draw them without them. :)
