"Boris" is an esteemed Drekthari knight. He participates in strength and eating contests at festivals, as well as jousting as an attempt to get over his shyness. However, he also thoroughly enjoys wrecking cocky, overconfident people who need to be taught a lesson.

He has fought and protected Drekthari royalty for countless years, earning his Guardsman title only recently. His status as a foreigner (and most likely a deserter) has made it hard for him, but his appreciation for the wilderness and his loyalty has earned him a place in Drekthar society.

Personality
Wild Boar.

Much like a true boar, "Boris" is shy and reserved, but prone to anger and ferocity. He finds it hard to make friends and is especially bashful when faced with a crush. However, on the battlefield or when finding a threat of any kind, he is a vicious warrior.

He likes to play "hero" and saves anyone in perceived danger (which is not always real danger), but also enjoys beating down arrogant losers. Much of this comes from the guilt he faces for being a deserter from his homeland.

  • Voiced by Thorin Oakenshield.
  • Has a HUGE appetite worthy of many, many courses. A good ale and a meal is the life!
  • Supposedly deeply connected to and/or born directly of one of the nature god's boar children
Inventory
Kind of empty.

Halberd

Boris' favored weapon, he uses this during his guardsmanship and combat. It has lost much of its shine from use, but remains a slick silver with minimal scuffing. Looks like it could slice a head off!

Tusks

In close combat and weaponless fights, Boris loves to return to his wild roots and work with what he was blessed with. Among these are his sharp tusks, jutting out from his snout. He loves to bite and ram people with them if the situation calls for it...

Background
Dissenter.

The First

The ancient dragon home harbored many animal species, evolving under the watchful eyes of their creators. The Great Wildschwein's boar children were one of them.

Amilon

Víðarr was born into slavery under other humanoids, who had began collecting "lesser" (not as evolved) breeds such as himself to take advantange of. He was trained into a guardsman during his youth - at least eight years old. At first, he protected parks, villages and towns, before being called upon to serve at the palace of the Makers.

When the Makers mistreated him and his fellow guardsmen, he enlisted the aid of the dragons in order to burn down their castles and slaughter them. In time, this broke out into a war - and eventually Víðarr fled from his homeland.

Drekthar

He ended up awash on Jandvik, Drekthar. Pulled in by fishermen, the Amilon insignia was immediately recognizable, and he was turned in to the Council. It was there that he pledged his services to Drekthar to repay his rehabilitation at their hands.

Relationships
Finally, friends.

companion

The son of Emhyr, king of the wyverns.

After ending up in Drekthar, Víðarr found him one day, a spear struck just below his heart. He helped mend the creature back to health, learning of his story and returning him to Emhyr's ruins. Pledged to his father and forever earned the creature's companionship, calling him "Envy" for his possessiveness.

master

Víðarr is a warrior of Emhyr, guarding his ruins fiercely in hopes to ally with dragons once more.

Emhyr was the one who gave him his name, inspired by his lust for vengeance.
