Backstory
Rosamond Meriele Elsagor is the daughter of Orwal Elsagor, an Aasimar warrior, and Cailana Syltris Elsagor (now with the surname Aloro), a moon/high elf ex-Cleric. She was born when her father was about 40, and her mother was about 100 (probably a little older), and in-game she's currently about 110 years old. She was raised in a small town close to Rusthabour and lived a peaceful life in her childhood. Her mother tried teaching her magic, though what she was really interested in was protecting those who could not defend themselves; she wanted to be a warrior, like her father. She would sneak into training sessions as a child, watching her father from her hiding spot behind a barrel or any other place she could squeeze behind. Of course, she would always be caught, and at first she would always be thrown away from the premises when found, but eventually, she was allowed to stay and watch, so long as she behaved herself. Her admiration was clear, amazement painting her face whenever she studied the movements of the men in combat. She pleaded with her parents to let her join, to learn to fight herself. It took determination and stubbornness, but eventually, she was able to break them down and it was agreed that, so long as she worked hard on her studies, when she was old enough, she would be allowed to train in the art of combat.
And so she did, and it was like that for some time. The townspeople got to know her quite well, as she would help anyone in the town who needed her help. She trained alongside her father, and became quite proficient in combat, getting very close to matching his skill. She never was able to beat him in a fight, however, at least not at his full strength.
Meanwhile, Stéphane Aloro (the father of Ambercatlucky2's character, Nia) was negotiating business with her hometown, in hopes to gain from them and giving them little in return. However, the town saw through his plot, and refused his negotiations not only out of pride, but also because they wanted nothing to do with the shady businessman. He retaliated with an attack on the town. Rosamond was too young to fight (she wasn't even 100 at this point yet) and obeyed her father when he told her to hide while he lead the guard. Unfortunately, he died in the fight at ~125 years old. The town was left in shambles. Her mother offered herself to Stéphane Aloro in hopes to stop the attack, and succeeded, leaving Rosamond an orphan. Heartbroken, Rosamond stayed in her town to protect everyone who was left and help in any way she could.
Gregor, an old friend of her father, attempted to contact him (not knowing he was dead), desperate for his help. A dragon had attacked Gregor's home town, and his daughter had been kidnapped. Rosa, unable to stop herself from helping anyone who needed help, packed her bags and made her way out to meet Gregor as quickly as possible. She explained that her father had died when she met up with Gregor, and offered to help him, which he accepted.
