Flickermoon

a windclan warrior apprentice who started having strange dreams she disregarded until the healer thrushleaf approached her, saying she'd received a sign that flickerpaw was meant to become her apprentice. she told thrushleaf about her dreams and switched to healer training.

thrushleaf knows her stuff and teaches it well enough but she's actively suffering under the healer role because her brother hollyfang was the previous healer and he recently left the clans. so now everything is a reminder; she sleeps in his den and does his daily work and makes plans he should have been making for apprentice training. meanwhile flickerpaw's connection to starclan keeps getting stronger and she dreams with them more and more frequently until one day she wakes up and continues hearing them. starclan cats start teaching her medicine and she excells, and eventually starclan tells thrushleaf that she doesnt need to stay in windclan out of obligation. flickerpaw will be fine, she's incredibly gifted and learning quickly. thrushleaf leaves to join her friend in riverclan.

flickerpaw is followed by starclan spirits constantly, dreaming and awake. she always has someone to get a second opinion from or words of advice, and she becomes deeply treasured by windclan very quickly. flickerpaw also becomes somewhat distant and distracted and mysterious due to Always Having Ghosts Hang Around Her and the other clans' healers arent quite sure about her. but its not really their business, and it seems apparent that she has starclan's approval, so they let it be. when flickerpaw's guides decide her training is complete, flickerpaw announces it at a halfmoon meeting and has her naming ceremony in her dream. she tells the other healers her new name, flickermoon, when they wake up.

flickermoon's name reflects her spiritual power and incredibly important place in windclan's history. when windclan was left with no leader, no deputy, no healer, it was her that starclan chose to train themselves. 

also she's named after the bird lol
