the clashing of the older pirate legend and the up-and-coming youth growing ever more in infamy was unavoidable as their 'hunting' territories overlapped. despite the animosity, nyctea holds some amount of respect for the old sea dog and she feels as if the fearsome blackbeard holds a similar sentiment towards her...

despite that all, their rivalry will only truly be finished when one of the two dies (or, more preferably, retires from the buccaneering business)
