Cobu's mother was bitten by a werewolf. While scientists and vets worked hard to get the dna out of her blood it was apparent that it wouldn't affect her kids, or so they thought.

When Cobu was born, he looked the least like a wolf, although he had reminiscent genes in his blood still. No one thought it was a big deal. After a tragedy involving bio-engineering scientists and blood samples Cobu was locked up in a cage never to set foot into the outside world.

Day after day he would grow angrier and angrier. He wouldn't talk to anyone, not even the other bio-engineered creatures.

One day a veterinarian was walking in the woods near this secret location. She heard a cry of help and so she went to go see what was happening.

Cobu had escaped! He tackled Nana to the ground and demanded that she let him go! She had no idea what he was talking about but could see the fear and anger in his eyes. He was malnourished as well and there were cuts and bruises all over his body. Being the great veterinarian that she was she talked him into letting her help him.

Cobu lived in the veterinary building. He slowly grew less fearful and more curious. But one day...

It had been a few years now since he had escaped from his prison and it was shut down and abandoned.

Nana was being curious, apparently Cobu had been sneaking out every night. She followed him one night.

They found each other and went snooping through some files that were left in the building, things describing what Cobu was. There was mention of other creatures too, like Idkis, Miracle, Tora, and Kaiku. The last three Cobu never met, they came along after he had escaped. But Idkis...

Nana was caught by Idkis, he was still in the building!

Cobu had to go rescue her but that would mean bringing up the past. When it was all said and done, and Nana was freed, Idkis left them alone.

Nana and Cobu spent the next few years happily together. Until one day they decided to get married.

And that's when they had Jerio, a sweet innocent little pup.
