Burgundy Pearl

This is burgundy pearl, i modeled her after the theme of spikes and “Blood Ocean”. I made her for @24cr pearl contest on tumblr and i realized that I just didn’t have a plain full blown true red pearl. So i needed to rectify that. 

Burgundy Pearls gem is between her shoulder blades. Burgundy Pearl was originally made for a Pyrope who was a commanding leader and requested a pearl with intelligence to understand what she needed to do without being told what to do all the time. This backfired in Pyropes face hundreds of years later with Burgundy pearl destabilizing Pyrope and escaping from her metaphorical cage as Pyropes servant.

This look may be unusual for a pearl but this is the form she chose to look like after she ran from her owner at the ‘perfect moment’ she saw. 

Personality: Quiet yet has a commanding presence as she does not shy away from eye contact and has her head held high for pearl. She will talk when she deems it necessary and is straight to the point on things. She does’t like wasting her words. She is a good anchor for others as the strong silent type and has a weak spot for other pearls to a degree. She empathizes with them. Though that empathy only goes so far, if you don’t do anything to cross her then you’re fine. If you cross her, you’ve essentially rid yourself of any chance with her empathizing with you. So it’s hard to change her opinion after she’s formed it.]] -wiltedsunflower
