Physical Description
-
Personality
-
Jema is friendly, inviting and approachable. If you've got a problem, he's the guy for you. If something needs to get done, he's the first to volunteer to help. He's the man who corrals everybody to action. Very well-liked and easy to love because of his friendly nature. However, he's a little too good at lying to be completely trusted by anyone. He tends to cling to those he really likes, which luckily are few and far between. But a bit unfortunate for those who are subject to it. Hopefully they like to cuddle and have smoke blown in their face!

Voice
-
Deep and almost croaking, with a pleasant Southern twang.

Backstory
-
One night, Andrew and Lindsay Jackson got into a nasty argument over his growing struggle with alcoholism. He was even pretty drunk while they were talking. Her concern was that if he kept this up, she'd have to divorce him and find a better man to raise their daughter with her. He didn't take too kindly to the idea of that. At first, there was just the normal yelling and screaming between the two, and then there was violence. Then Lindsay wasn't alive anymore. Then Rosie, who came out of her room in the midst of the screaming and crying, wasn't alive anymore. And so, Andrew was gone. He changed his name, fled their quaint country home and as far as he knows, no one is trailing him anymore. That was five years ago. Who would stick to a case that long? None other than Nathanael Tallens, of course. Not that Jema Bailey knows anything about that.

Selfishness, mirrors, bright lights and people who are too shy to take care of themselves.
-
Strengths
-
Warmth, friendliness, easily approachable, good problem-solver, good at lying and manipulating.
-
Weaknesses

Short temper, alcoholism, has completely ignored and repressed his past to some degree rather than faced it and taken responsibility.

Extra
-
By the time Michael and Florindo's story is told, Jema's story is merely a trophy on Inspector Tallens' wall.

Profile
A friendly, warm man on the run from his past. Has a bit of a drinking problem. Not as friendly as he seems.
