Minoru

Personality: 

Minoru is a quiet most of the time and likes to be alone a lot of the time. Minoru is also quite considerate of others because he spends quite a bit of time observing and reflecting. Because of the amount of time he spends reflecting on things that have happened- Minoru learns a lot more quickly than others. He's also quite knowledgeable because of his travels as a merchant! 

Because of his ability to transform items into other items, he can be quite cunning, and you may be fooled into buying something that is actually different to what you bought! 

Likes: 

• Being able to sell the rare/"rare" items for a good price. 
• Nature 
• Autumn 
• Being at his home in the forest of Red Japanese Maple and Yellow Ginkgo trees
• Reading 
• Traveling 

Dislikes: 

• Hot weather 
• When people spot that he might be selling fakes 
• When his items don't sell for as high as he'd like 
• Insects and arachnids 

Background: 

As mentioned above, Minoru mainly travels alone to sell rare/"rare" goods. But he is more likely to sell real goods to people he trusts and is good friends with. 

But for those who aren't as close to Minoru, there are ways to tell if the products aren't genuine. 

His abilities: 

• Shape shift- He is able to change his physical form, but he can only change into other forms that have the same weight/ mass as him. When he is in a weakened state, he can not transform into any other form. 
• Item transform- He can transform items into other items, but he can only transform the item into another item is it has the same weight/ mass. The items he transforms also aren't a perfect replication of what he intends to copy- there's always something that is off, but sometimes that can be hard to determine. His ability to transforms items becomes worse if he is feeling bothered/ upset/ physically (badly) hurt. 

• He's not used to being around smaller, frail people- especially children (he doesn't always know what to do with them) but he tries his best to look after them though- because otherwise he'd feel bad.
• Because people have complained about his tails getting in the way of things/ them being too big- Minoru hides his tails and ears when he goes travelling. (By hide, he makes them disappear- or at least seem invisible to people).

Evelyn: 

At first, Minoru tried to sell a fake item to her, but just as he was about to, he was attacked by a swarm of insects. No matter how hard he tried, he wasn't able to. Evelyn managed to help him by throwing insect bait (a ball crushed leaves stuck together by sap tree sap) in another direction to attract the insects somewhere else. After the ordeal, he told the truth about the item he was about to sell to her. Evelyn was angry at first because she had come all the way from her forest to come visit him, but Minoru then offered to find the rare item she was looking- free of charge. Now, he helps Evelyn find items for her potions and spells.
