A cheerful guy, his motto is: "A smile a day, keeps the sadness away!" He'd rather enjoy life to the fullest than dwell on painful things. A really silly guy, he tends to say the strangest things in his absentmindedness, but also often gets people laughing as a result. Passionate, but gentle, some might say he's like a big(idiot of a) brother.
Underneath his happy exterior though, he's someone that never forgets the bad and painful things in life, choosing to keep it with him to make him stronger. Seems simple-minded but when he gets serious, there's nothing he can't do.
When it comes to work, he is completely capable of masking and holding in his emotions. Depending on the nature of the work, he can even be quite taciturn compared to his usual self.
- Often repeats his motto to Signe only to be ignored or given extra training when he starts to annoy her.
- When he's not working, he likes to visit any local orphanages or worn-down areas to play with and cheer up the kids.
- The markings on his face are so he never forgets the tears shed by loved ones of those he's killed.
- Abilities: Can appear/disappear as/in a wisp of smoke, if he's able to sneak some of his smoke to your brain(via eyes/ears) he can make your memory of him hazy/smoky(only works for memories up to 24 hours), body is fire-resistant but clothes... not so much.
- He tends to get cold easily.
Born to human parents, just like a certain individual, he also enjoyed a fanciful life. It was due to this that he became fellow socialites with Sumire. Through several interactions they became somewhat close and after the perishings of both their parents, Zahir followed her along on her campaign to help those that were like them. It was his belief that they could create happier lives for everyone. Soon enough, he found that Sumire didn't share the same ideals.
Time passed as Zahir became one of Sumire's most hardworking members. Some even calling him a "Ghost" for how quickly he would appear to dispatch their enemies only to disappear without a trace. The things they did numbed his heart until one day it just went too far. When he realized that "everyone" did not include those who were unlike them. Thus, without hiding it, he approached Sumire to tell her of his resignation of what used to be both their shared quest.
To the surprise of many, she let him go without a scratch, maybe it was due to the last bit of sentiment she had toward their shared past. But it would only be this one time, for she would bring hellfire upon him and everything he cherished should they meet again. With that, he left with a smile but a heavy heart.
Later on, he would come upon Sieglinde Aldaine, who once was his enemy but perhaps could now become his ally. For, he felt something akin to her, having a bond severed due to factors neither of them could control. She allowed him to come under her umbrella, so-to-speak, helping him hone his powers and skills even more so than before.
Now, he works as one of her main espionage units, gathering any intel that she should desire for their next plan of action. Currently, he has hidden himself within the Kingdom of Rusbalt and it is there that he will once again have a destined encounter...

They're kind of like siblings now, not that he would say that out loud, lest she decide to take away more of his vacation days. He admires her resolve and doesn't mind working for her. Although, he does wish she would lighten up every now and then, maybe take a break or smile.
A truly charming and beautiful "old friend." He regrets the way they parted and the fact that things will most likely never be the same between them, but he has accepted that it just be like that sometimes. Still, it doesn't stop him from being nostalgic about the past.
Perhaps in this lifetime, there might not be a way to understand each other. Ironically enough it's as if they have traded places.
