Bonzai was the child of Andrecus and Markdrew, a mixture of Lazee Townian and Active Civillan blood. He was not meant to life, a war breaking out half due to his very existence. For his own safety, Andrecus sent Bonzai away, drifting off to sea in box. For years all Bonzai ever knew were the sounds of the waves and the stars that would appear at night, the moon betraying him in ways he was too young to understand. Bonzai drifted for years- centuries, until he drifted upon the shore. It was the leader of the local mafia that had found him, taking him in as his own child. After that moment, Alec was alive.

Alec had grew up in the mafia under his father, Oda "The Hyper Realistic Cow" Xander. Alec was talented and skilled, though he never put any effort into his work and hardly tried despite it. This lack of effort was the exact reason Alec had died for the first time after an accident. Though he died, he wasn't dead, becoming a mere ghost to the world. There, he met Simeon, an old man in robes who was the only person who could see him. Alec was gifted an earring and was told of his abilities, how the person with the same piece of jewelry would be bound to him. That is when Alec met Anthony, his vessel, his 'respawn point'. Alec woke up from death as if nothing happened with more questions than answers, yet an exciting new bit of information. Alec no longer cares if he ends up dying, knowing he will come back anyway; and he gets to spend time with his new friend before resurrecting.

Alec only stops dying when he meets someone. Years later at his job, he becomes friends with one of his coworkers, Babs. He had went to the same college as her before dropping out and now he sits next to ehr at the office. The two begin doing everyting together, Babs being his only true friend. One day at the office, Alec's coffee is poisoned in an assassin attempt and he ends up dying. He's desperate to get back to his body, though Anthony had gotten his taste of peace and freedom and refuses to allow Alec to posses him. It's only when Anthony meets up with Babs months later, seeing how broken Alec's death made her that Anthony lets Alec resurrect. After that, Babs and Alec become inseperable.

• Alec is unable to age physically when in water.
• Alec is blind in his right eye due to the fact his true form only has a singular eye.
• Alec is the son of Andrecus and Markdrew, though he does not remember his parents.
• Alec is not able to die, instead becoming a ghost and posessing the body of someone with matching jewelry to his own. He can do this an infinite amount of times unless the other person dies.
• Alec has a severe case of prosopagnosia.
