Likes and Dislikes
Ava enjoys peace and quiet, she loves to lay down with a good book and a nice warm cup of coffee. She especially enjoys the. winter season because she claims it's the perfect weather for coffee and cozying up! She enjoys simple things and taking quiet walks. Ava dislikes ponies who don't make any effort in wowrking hard, she also dislikes tea. She claims coffee is wayyy better than tea anyways. She isn't fond of her freckles for no reason in particular other than stating that she doesn't want them..

Personality
Ava is a rather stubborn and hardworking pony. She can come off as cold and mean because of her insistence to focus on her tasks but deep down Ava is an extremely sweet pony who enjoys others company. Sometimes she just needs a reminder that it is okay to take a break from work. She is surprisingly flirty and confident when it comes to relationships and is an extremely affectionate parnter.She enjoys peace and quiet and from time to time needs space from other ponies. She is a very responsible pony and often feels extremely pressured to do her absolute best. She can be very critical of herself.

History
Ava and Straub grew up together as fillies! Ava's mother passed away when she was a filly due to an unknown sickness. Her father struggled immensely after her mother's death, he strugged with drinking and his relationship with his daughter suffered. This left Ava to have to take care of herself for the most part and she became very independent. After the death of Ava's mother Straub and Ava grew even closer and Straub was always found by Ava's side. The two often discussed starting a bakery/cafe together in honor of Ava's mother who also had dreams of starting her own cafe. Straub was born with a smaller horn than most unicorns but it's never bothered her. For a while Straub worked at Sugarcube Corner before finally deciding to open her own with the help of Sugar Sketch and Ava.

Hobbies and Interests
She enjoys reading in quiet places with a cup of warm coffee! When she isn't spending some time by herself she can be found with Straub on a picnic or treating her to sweets. She and Straub also often hang out with Sugar Sketch!

Straub
Straub and Ava grew up together as fillies. The two of them often enjoyed spending their time together and their families were close as well. They can often be found at each other's side and have been inseperable since they became friends. Ava was the one who came up with the nickname Straub! She also likes to just call her Shortcake partially because it's cute but also because of Straub's horn being shorter than average. As they grew older they shared dreams of running a bakery/cafe together in honor of Ava's mother and the two also recognized their feelings for each other. They are a well known couple within Ponyville, most ponies stating they saw this coming for a while now and it was bound to happen at some point. Their favorite thing to do together as a couple is go on picnic dates and chat! Ava enjoys her company the most, the two of can still be found by each other's sides frequently like when they were fillies.
Sugar Sketch
Ava and Sugar Sketch met through Straub! The three of them get along well together and share future dreams owning a bakery of their own. Sugar Sketch and Straub are very eccentric ponies unlike Ava who is always watching them to make sure they aren;t getting themselves into trouble. Ava and Sugar Sketch both occasionally enjoy their alone time and relaxing, because of this they often want to just have a quiet day which results in Straub begging them to go out with her and do something more exciting than napping and reading a book.

Trivia
The necklace Ava wears is her mother's and was given to her by her father after her mother's death, she wears is all the time. Ava and Straub grew up together since they were fillies and their families were fairly close and still are. Straub and Ava are dating and are very much in love with one another (obviously). Straub's real name is Strawberry Shortcake but Ava gave her the nickname Straub and just stuck! She goes by Straub, Straub Shortcake or Strawberry Shortcake. Ava also likes to just call her Shortcake partially because it's cute but also because of Straub's horn being shorter than average. Her favorite food is chocolate chip muffins, she claims they go well with coffee!
