With the genetics of two elite equines, Kaname has a very sophisticated attitude, even if he was treated like dirt by the other herd members during his childhood. However, he still managed to respect the fact that others disagreed with his existence and tried to carry on without making himself a part in their lives. He is very understanding of the feelings others have, although he will question them when he feels they are out of line to be acting certain ways. He does not think highly of himself or anyone else, as he feels everyone is equal. Everyone has a purpose in life, whether they can find it or they can't, he says. Kaname believes his purpose will be found in the lands outside of the northern regions. With this idea, it brings out the adventurer in his heart, as he did as his father did. His father travelled the lands after he left his mother, and Kaname had that same desire to do as his father did.
After turning into a yearling, and meeting his father, Kaname had some buried feelings that were brought to attention. He always had a feeling that he was missing something, and his stomach almost desired it. With this feeling, he would try different fruits to see if that satisfied him, but it never did. Sometimes, he would get so frustrated that he wouldn't be able to handle himself, and have almost temper tantrums. His father explained to him that he was a vampire, which at first he laughed at. But as Kaname slowly realized the truth, after trying some rabbit blood, his mental stability dropped. He realized the reason his mother died was because she couldn't carry a vampire colt, whom consumed all of her energy. He became a little edgy, afraid of himself and if he would hurt anyone else. He became afraid that if he drank blood and ate grass that he would become fat, as nobody knew the consequence of doing both, and so he resorted to whatever was available, losing more weight than normal. He wasn't entirely malnourished, but had developed a fear of gaining weight, known as Anorexia. Kaname did not develop this until he left the northern lands, because his father would have most likely cursed on him for doing so, as any parent would. Although this little step down made Kaname anxious and fearful of hurting others, he still had a sophisticated tone. He tried to shove off the negative feelings, and tried to bring out his real self.
Kaname is confident, but not enough to have a family. He swore to himself that he would never bear a child because of the fear of killing the mare that could possibly be his love. His mother died by accident, and he would not let another suffer like that.
A family of sophisticated, elite neutral horses lived in the lively plains far to the north, where it snowed from November until April. They didn't get little snow like most of the central areas received, but sometimes they would get a foot of snow overnight. A mare in the herd, Lights, was in late foal with a brute who went by nothing. For you never went to him, he came to you. He was said to be the son of the Leader, but no one really know the truth. He was a jet black stallion, that came and go as he pleased. Lights had seen him disappear into the woods several times, and decided to follow him. They ended up meeting, and shortly 'falling in love'. When Lights found out she was pregnant, she went to find the stallion, to find he was gone. She waited eleven months for him to come back, but she never saw him again, and went into labour. It was late march, when the snow was beginning to melt, but the north was still getting cold fronts. The cold was so harsh, Lights had a cold, and through exhaustion and loneliness during the birth, she ended up dying. Lights childhood friend who had given birth to a foal before the snow came, came to retrieve her after a few hours, to find her foal, Kaname. He was weak, and would soon die due to the cold, but he was standing near his mother, trying to drink her milk. Lights friend took her foal back to the herd, in which everyone looked down upon him due to Lights disappearance, and she raised him, giving him the remaining milk she had. It didn't last long enough though, only three months, and then she managed to find another mare in the herd who was soon to foal, so she begged her to look after Kaname. Nobody had named him at the time, and it was ironic due to the fact he looked exactly like his father. His entire childhood, he was shoved around by others, being one of the lowest ranks, and the most disgraceful colt in the herds history. He began leaving the herd at a year old to venture around, letting the landscape consume his loneliness. The rush of adventuring made him feel better, and he soon began seeing this tall, muscular brute in the night. He followed him one night, and the brute turned and stared at him, nostrils flaring, like he was the devil of the night. However, the colt felt no fear, he felt amazed. The brute called out to him, "Kaname, come..." And that's when his training began.
Years passed, and it was Kaname's father whom he met. His father told him the reason why his mother died, the reason why he was never around for Kaname's life, and why Kaname never felt satisfied. His mother died because Kaname killed her from the inside out, because he was vampire. His father left before his mother gave birth because he was afraid of harming her or Kaname. Kaname never felt satisifed because of his thirst for blood, in which when Kaname heard this, he went crazy. He developed Anorexia, as he tried to eat grass as much as he could but was terrified he would get overweight. He mainly quenched blood, which made him go almost mentally insane. He didn't want to be this way. And so, after a while, he left his father's side, saying goodbye to him, to begin his own life, and see if there was a possible way to help cope with this "Disease".
2013
- On September 8th, 2013, Kaname was accepted.
- On September 14th, 2013, Kaname reunited with Verona.
- On October 20th, 2013, Kaname met Verona's father Lord Kinex.
- On November 19th, 2013, Kaname kills Lord Kinex.
- On December 2nd, 2013, Verona was stolen from Kaname by Bastille(Tatiannista), but given back to him once Bastille realized their love.
- On the same day, Kaname reunited with Verona after killing her father, and admits to being a Vampire.
- On December 14th, 2013, Kaname meets Bastille(Tatinnista).
- On December 26th, 2013, Kaname trades in his subherd for a Light Mainland, Spectrum Valley.
2014
- On January 22nd, 2014, Kaname was stolen by Sempiternal(Vin), but given back as she disappeared.
- On January 28th, 2014, Kynneta and Maiko were born OOC.
- On February 16th, 2014, Jayden(cookies) became Beta Stallion.
- On March 7th, 2014, Verona was stolen by Toxic(Ashy).
- On March 26th, 2014, Kaname met the Beta mare Lullaby IC(Roman).
- On September 4th, 2014, Kaname met Vanth(Vin).
- On October 27th, Kaname approached Arthmin(Birna) and Malmuirie(Fishie) to claim Axis Mundi. Axis Mundi was a Neutral land up in the mountains, but just so happened to be a mountain in the southern parts of Spectrum Valley. Kaname gave away half of his valley, and combined with Axis Mundi so he was now in the Neutral Kingdom.
2015
- On February 1st, 2015, Kaname reunited with Verona, Louvieta and Maiko for a family reunion.
- On February 10th, 2015, Kaname approached Linossa leader Alistair(Aliyaah) to become allies.
- On March 11th, 2015, Kaname met Jack the Ripper and eventually made him Beta stallion.
- On July 2nd, 2015, Kaname met Thundra, leader of Cooper Creek(Ashy).
2016
- On February 8th, 2016, Kaname meets the new queen Divine(Aliyaah).
2017
- In 2017, Verona has disappeared. Maiko is still stolen, so Kaname is alone.
- In May 2017, Sly(Aliyaah) stole Kaname.
- In June 2017, I gave up Spectrum Valley.
