PERSONALITY

A Meowl who often leaves his shop in his assistants' hands while he runs off to the hot springs but then gets forcefully dragged back..

Typically a playful and relaxed person but can be quite serious when he puts his mind to work and doesn't tolerate clumsiness when he's working. He doesn't mind answering genuine questions but will get annoyed when people that are either arrogant, incredibly ignorant or a mix of both question his creations/mixtures' credibilities (he can get pretty cold/sarcastic when that happens).

He likes to take his time with things but it doesn't mean that he is a slower worker, he just prefers to do whatever he's doing at his own pace. His pace is often pretty efficient, especially when it concerns what he is good at, namely, his job (herbs, diagnosis, treatment, creating potions/mixtures). However, other than that, he is pretty "chill" with his pace (ex. when he's bathing, cleaning the shop, collecting herbs (mostly because he likes examining plants in close detail and admiring it), running errands (assigned by his assistant that he thinks aren't very urgent...)) which causes him to be pushed by his two assistants (or causes them to do it themselves with great exasperation).

Chrysanthos or Chrys for short is a herbalist who runs a well known Apothecary that was left to him by his uncle (who is not really his uncle, but he just calls him Uncle) who is quite old but still very much alive. The shop is run by 3 people, his two assistants and Chrys himself (with the Uncle occasionally helping out). Chrys is in charge of diagnosing the patient, making the treatment and administering it if needed. The third one will usually be done by his assistants but he'll administer the treatment if they do not have the ability. Depending on the herb/plant, Chrys will also collect/shop for his own supplies but those that task is usually left with the assistants (Chrys enjoys this task though but he likes to take his time doing it....so his assistants will do it instead). In addition to his main tasks, Chrys will spend his time researching and experimenting to create new mixtures/potions. He tends to experiment himself a lot which can sometimes lead to some semi-dire consequences, but since Chrys has a excellent immune system and a rather strong body that is very good at ridding itself of foreign substances, he's usually fine after a day or two.

Chrys is a meowl that is considered a "genius" as he is still quite young and yet a very respected individual who has accomplished much in his field of work all way back to his apprentice days. He had started out with his mentor, intending to become a doctor, more specifically a surgeon but later on chose to go on the path of a herbalist just after qualifying for his profession. His past has allowed him to retain much if not all of his training, making him slightly more than a herbalist but he rarely offers his services as a "doctor" and makes a point of him only providing "herbalist" services.

Not many know about Chrys' childhood as when people ask, Chrys usually just assumes they want to know about his journey with his mentor. Chrys grew up on the streets as an orphan and was soon recruited into a factory when he was 4. The factory manufactured various drugs and often had him and the other people (of varying ages from 4-20+) handle dangerous chemicals while breathing in toxic fumes. The exposure to all the toxic chemicals and fumes eventually dyed the meowl's feathers black/grey and many died from cancer and infections. However, among the ash-coloured feathers, Chrys stayed green and vibrant, never showing any serious symptoms while his companions soon withered away and were replaced with new companions that would eventually wither away too.

He eventually caught the attention of the owner after a few years and soon became a pet of some sorts.The owner was an powerful figure in the Kingdom and soon trained Chrys to be a potion tester. He was taught to identify poions from smell, look, texture and taste. It was there, sitting in a room larger than he could ever dream of, eating food that words could not describe where he discovered his love for tea. The owner found it adorable and would get Chrys to ingest poisons and other chemicals in exchange for some tea (Chrys was still quite young and doesn't realize that this was a very bad exchange).

Even though Chrys' body is able to miraculously get rid of harmful substances he often needs time and time was something the owner sometimes did not give. And so sometimes, from a few days to even a few weeks, Chrys would be in a delirious condition, experiencing hallucinations, random outburts of laughing, crying, anger (intense mood swings) and/or sometimes pain on varying levels. The owner was fascinated with Chrys' body and fed and injected him with every potion imaginable. This helped Chrys' body learn to neutralize these substances faster and faster, but it still wasn't fast enough to compete at the rate of substances being injected into him.

Truth to be told, the owner had no need for a poison tester and just enjoyed playing with Chrys, receiving a twisted sense of joy from Chrys' eyes lighting up when he is able to drink tea after the owner's little experiments. Luckily for Chrys, they did not do big surgical experiments as they found early on that anything that left his body contained no healing properties and alterations to his body were often rejected through quite a disgusting process (his body will make him throw the "rejection" back up, it's quite painful and usually involves parts or bits of his insides/flesh coming up as it "rips" it from his insides if they cannot neutralize it through dilution).

Through the countless experiments, Chrys began to develop an ability to "see" into a body and "see" what went on in the body. Later on (near the end of his travels with his mentor), he is able to "guide" substances through his body (ex. speed up/slow down the travel rate) and much much later in the future, personally speed up the natural healing process of others (he becomes known as "The Bone Mender").

- Has a disturbing amount of tea boxes in his work space (empty/filled with other stuff such as herbs or just teabags)
- Usually found trying to escape his assistant
- Some people pronouce his name with a "thus," which he doesn't really care although the proper way is with a "th-o-s'

- His heightened senses makes him keenly aware of what goes on in a person's body (often tests the effectiveness of his creations this way) 
- his body is quite resiliant towards poison and medication which causes his body unable to take in andidotes and medication. He doesn't get sick often but it's a pain in the ass when he does and can only rely on time to get better.
- has quite a high tolerance towards pain and heals rather fast

- Has markings on his upper arms and 3 markgs above the knee (see Sakonma's)

- Hair is a long mullet (not super thick)
