Primary Ability:

• Upon falling asleep or unconscious, Lei's mind can be released from her physical body, and is free to roam around the world within a certain distance from her body as an invisible, intangible projection of herself. Furthermore, she can also flash a mysterious, short-ranged beam of light from her eyes that, when met with the eyes of another, will "bookmark" that person to swap minds with when she next falls asleep or unconscious! When she does, Lei's projection is instead automatically drawn out and taken to the body of the person that she bookmarked, while that person's mind is also pulled from their body and is stored in Lei's sleeping body without ever even realizing that the switch occured (or at least as long as nothing wake's Lei's body up while the two are swapped). Lei is placed into that person's body and assumes full control over it until she falls asleep/unconscious in their body.

Effects, Limitations and Drawbacks:

• When simply projecting herself, the only limitation she experiences is the maximum distance that her mind can travel from her body before things start turning hazy. That distance is about 500 ft or about 150 m.

• The maximum distance that Lei's "swap-beam" can reach is about 3 ft or 1 m. It must meet with another person's eyes within its respective reach and the person's eyes must be unobstructed for it to connect and properaly work. Thin layers of transparent material such as plastic, glass, or clear glasses can typically be penetrated by the beam, but thicker and more opaque obstructions like sunglasses, cloth, or a person's eyelids will stop the beam. The person does not have to be making direct eye-contact with Lei, so long as her beam can reach their pupils.

• As long as Lei's body remains asleep for the whole duration of a swap, the person will have no memory of it after their mind is returned to their body. However, if anything occurs to wake up the person in Lei's body during a swap, they too will have complete control over her body, which would blow Lei's cover and potentially put her body in danger if the person realized what was going on. Furthermore, Lei has no remote way of knowing if her body is still asleep or if something has woken it up while she's swapped. This makes using her swap a very risky move when the person she's swapping with isn't supposed to know about it.

• While swapped, Lei's mind is especially susceptible to being knocked out of the person's body via head trauma. Even a blow that wouldn't normally cause unconsciousness can sometimes be enough to cause the swap to end prematurely and send the two's minds back to their original bodies.

• Both projecting and swapping requires continuous mental concentration, which means that the amount of time Lei's body spends asleep while her flair is active is basically time spent still being awake. This can easily cause her sleep deprivation if she doesn't get full, proper sleep.

• Miraculously, Lei is able to swap with certain kinds of animals as well. Mammals and birds usually work, but bugs, fish, and reptiles rarely do.
