Andres is a selkie from northern, colder waters. His mother came from a line of selkies who had links to tempestarii — weather-making mages who could raise or prevent storms at will. Although his clan frequently traveled and did not often stay in one place for too long, he was separated from his parents in an incident with hunters at the shoreline when he was young. His surviving relatives raised him from then on. Eventually, he parted from them because he wanted to explore the rest of the world for himself. He has since been traveling both land and oceans on his own.

Personality

Andres has a naturally charming demeanor. He is generally easy to get along with and has a witty sense of humor. On land, he finds it entertaining to play into his role as a ~mysterious stranger~ from somewhere far away, though he is otherwise careful to keep himself from drawing too much unwanted human attention. In comparison to most of his kind, Andres would be deemed reckless due to his fascination with life on land. He is also disarmingly innocent as a result of this.

Abilities

As the son of a tempestarii, Andres has inherited the ability to manipulate storms. He is strongest in or near water, though it is possible for him to raise weaker storms or rainfall without any sources of water around.
