History

When he was caught up in a storm and blown far to the south from his desert home, ending up in the great forest. Between his injuries and lack of food, he wasn’t in his right mind and attacked a phoenix after remembering a story he once heard saying a phoenix’s flight feather had the ability to teleport someone wherever they desired. Within moments of him capturing the phoenix and stating his demands, he found himself bound by vines conjured by a companion of the phoenix he had captured.

After being captured, Valsppara was tried in the court of the region and by the Creed it was decided that he was to be put to servitude for a year to the phoenix he had captured, Saffa. Saffa didn’t want anything to do with him, and suggested he serve her friend, Ffaralder, who had captured Valsparra. Valsparra ends up in the service to the phoenix mage Ffaralder.

Several months later, Ffaralder learns about a magic that peeks his interest and sets out on a journey, with Valsparra, and the phoenix Beeilen in tow. The journey is cut short when an unknown monster appears and within an instant fatally injures Ffaralder. Ffaralder casts an immensely powerful spell and defeats the monster, but when the dust settles Valsparra and Beeilen were unable to find Ffaralder’s body.
