Kodama

Laid-back | Trustworthy | Observant | Sharp | Crude | Sharp tongue | Hard to read | Lazy | Reserved

As a spirit that resides in one of the oldest tree close to the forest for a very long time, Kodama is an honest soul who is not afraid to voice out what he really thinks, in spite of situations where it could often seem offensive but he usually means well with it. If you expect him to answer truthfully, he will, as he is not the type to baby or to sugarcoat things. Despite so, over the long years he has learned to tone down on his crudeness, and resorts to silence instead. (too much effort, otherwise)

He is more or less a laid-back person and is generally chill in demeanor, his stoic-ness and lack of expression often making it hard for people to read him. He often goes along with things but he will be sure to step out or aside if its not something he'd agree with, as he is not afraid to say no bluntly. Simple-minded, he either says yes or no, there is no in-between (other than silence) However, with the company of little Ko's, they prove to be more expressive than Kodama himself, as they are part of him but some may have their own separate conscience.

Spending most of his early years dormant in the husks of the tree he resides in, it was natural for him to be sharp and observant towards people, he tends to pick up patterns and traits unconsciously, through their actions, gesture and matter of speech to identify the type of person they are, but there lies the matter of choice if he wants to interact with them. He is also quite an old-fashioned person and prefers the old ways, although he is not opposed to learning the modern ways, and also speaks in full sentences (types in them too). He is also deemed quite reserved and lazy, finding it a hassle to exert more effort than he needs to, most of the time.
