This Black Market dealer lives for outright chaos.

His chosen occupation allows for his favorite thing. Spreading danger & then standing back and see what happens.  He is kind of a chaos demon-type.

He's typically not really interested in profit, just the effect, absolutely wants to see/hear about any carnage or fallout! (although he has a strict non-biological warfare clause) He is a networker, he keeps in touch with customers, on their exploits, makes and takes offers,

His favorite type of item to deal in are magical & alchemical items, typically dangerous ones, a lot of them weapons outright. He's got quite the collection, and most of it he plans to resell at some point or another.

Pandesal doesn't use his own merch under any circumstances. He avoids alchemical reactions, handling active artifacts with alchemically resistant gloves. He's protective of himself, he knows a lot about alchemy/dangerous magic, he prefers to sell to people who don't know much and take risks. He's been known to shadow and retrieve items if the buyer happened to meet an unfortunate end. Pan doesn't like to lose track of his wares as they have a lot of potential.

His caution when it comes to himself is a defining part of his character. He is very talented at keeping himself out of trouble and getting others into it.

Very charismatic, He is well loved by the criminal community, he doesn’t play favorites or associate with any sole crime-families, but dabbles around. Everyone knows and respects this. Pandesal is off-limits to any mob-war type moves, choosing to target him would be inciting violence from so many of close criminal contacts!

Tetch (in Basil & Thym) is a long-time buyer and acquaintance of Pandesal. (Though Tetch would likely be in his mid 30s or so if Pandesal is)

His Relationship with Amihan/Family

Has a sister that's 10 years younger than him- Amihan.

Their parents see Pandesal as a failure, and were embarrassed of him even before he became involved in the black market. They had high expectations set out, and every single one of them he seemed to disappoint them on. It was a harsh judgement to make , but when their second child seemed to be a little more promising, they lauded her as the family name’s salvation. Amihan absolutely “the favorite child”.

Pandesal wasn’t ever salty towards Amihan, just their parents. And Pandesal only acted out more and more into his teens and young adult life. From the get-go, Their parents berated him for being a bad influence on Amihan, but he was honestly one of the best influences in her life, although he did introduce some oddities into her life (she never used them for harm).

Pandesal always gave Amihan the time & space to be who she was without criticism, and she gave him the same in return! It was often them against their parents, though Amihan was the antithesis of Pandesal and she naturally pleased them. Good behavior, good grades, flying colors. The only time she ever disappointed them being when she stood up for Pandesal. She mostly has stayed out of his business and denied too many details, but Pandesal has oftentimes let Amihan know if she ever needed anything, he’d be more than happy to provide her with connections or gear. She hasn’t taken advantage of the offer, seeing as she is more lawfully inclined.

Pandesal eventually moved to a “more exciting city” to pursue his own ventures, out of the critical view of his parents. Amihan was sad to see him go, but absolutely happy for him. Despite his unlawful interests, Amihan has been ever supportive of him.

They agreed to stay in contact by writing and Amihan vowed to visit before too long. Not too long after (Maybe a year or two after he left) the plague hit the city the Andrada family called home, and Amihan wouldn’t break quarantine.  When it was found animals could not be carriers of said plague, Letters were eventually allowed exit from the city and Amihan was able to loop Pandesal in.

Once she decided to also leave her home-city to become a traveling doctor, she continued to write Pandesal about all the interesting goings on. Said she’d visit before long, planning to stop in his city in her journeying.
