Greatest Strength
Paars is considered very smart for his age, easily called gifted or a prodigy in the things he delves into, whether music or technical skills, although he has no particular interest yet. In fact, he becomes bored when he gets good or praised at something.
Greatest Weakness
He's got his own personal turmoils since he never met his birth parents and knows he is adopted, curious about it, but never pries. He is also not very good with needles or thrill rides, avoiding them if possible.
Saxophone
Being musically adept at a lot of instruments is a good thing, but with Paars it can be Cafuné's nightmare, especially with the saxophone. He follows her around the house when Freya isn't home, playing pathetic tunes when she drops something or makes a bad decision, like sitcom music.
Soccer
He played soccer since he was more little than he is now, always having been a good sport and a good player whether he is a goalie or on the offense. He doesn't feel like playing in large scales though.
DIY
Always interested in new things, he spends a lot of time researching "life hacks" and badly done DIY projects so he can do it better. He can make his own contraptions too.
Positive Traits
He appears to be a very happy person, which itself is a good and commendable thing. He smiles often, so Freya doesn't worry over him, and lives his life unrestrained by any predicaments he has faced so far. He is aware he is good at things but strives to do even better, ambitious.
Neutral Traits
His cat-like curiousity makes him observant and a good learner, but also deemed nosy and mischevious. He notices trouble and gets into it, at times starting it, but feigns innocence that he never knows he is doing something wrong, getting away with being sly.
Negative Traits
His deceit and apparent apathy is his worst quality. He understands he lives a fortunate life, and not wanting to waste it, he doesn't actually care if others can't catch up to him in life. He's certain that even if Freya wasn't his mother, he could still accomplish so much, somewhat vain. He's rude to Cafuné not out of hatred, but so she can stand up for herself and not laze around wasting her life.

Freya is proud of his strengths, but worries he doesn't ever show any sadness. Cafuné cares for him but they also fight a lotttt.

Classmates and adults think Paars is very smart and confident, that he may just be a natural leader.
Enemies
A couple people notice he is apathetic and doesn't wait for others/help if it doesn't convenience him. It's annoying in sports.
Paars never pieced a face with his birth mother, completely unknowing about what kind of person his father was. His mother cared for him until he was about a year old, passing away and passing Paars unto her old friend, Freya. It was sudden, but Freya at least vowed to care for Paars as if he was her own blood. Since then, he'd only hear stories of his birth family, but felt more comfortable considering Freya and Cafuné as his current family.
As a small child, he recalls Cafuné being difficult with him, side eyeing and avoiding him to nab Freya all to herself, like a child who'd become dethroned as the favorite. Freya didn't prioritize either, but Paars did need more attention as a given. If his sister tried to pick on him, he was pretty smart from the beginning, always able to get her in trouble or stump her. He became used to being crafty and tricky, a mischevious kid, but in the small instances Freya noticed, she took the time to speak to him and correct his behavior. Maybe he expected a scolding, but Freya's patience with him seemed to always take him aback. She didn't expect her kids to do the best things, just to not do the wrong things is all.
As he went to school, Paars can't say he had many he considered good friends. He wasn't shy or too mysterious to be approached, just someone that preferred his own space. Perhaps he had some apathy and wouldn't simply do things for others if it didn't convenience him, but he might have felt a bit lost trying to find his own footing at the same time. He was good at many things; soccer, saxophone, but not things he'd like to do in the future. He felt that if you love something enough, making it a full time job might make you lose your passion to some degree. At the same time, he doesn't want a future he'd loathe entirely either.
It's all stuff he thinks of from time to time, but he doesn't ask others for advice either; Freya is a busybody with a life he wouldn't want to follow exactly, as medical topics don't interest him, while Cafuné puts little thought into her lifestyle to help. Still, Paars has seen her become mature little by little, even if she mindlessly lives, so does he really need to plan so much if opportunities appear regardless? When he really thinks about it, Freya didn't intend to have the role she has now, initially aiming for less. If her confidence has truly carried over to Paars, he's confident that he'll end up becoming something great in the end.
At the moment, Paars is a high school freshman, a boy who's a tad bit shorter than other boys, a boy who's still just as well rounded in every subject as he was before. With a few years left of school, he contemplates whether he should dip his toes into college immediately, unsure of a major, or if should take a gap year to try new things. If anything, he still wants to stay close to his family in the long term, and maybe when he's an adult they can understand each other better, Cafuné especially.
∙ The picture of the smug cat surrounded by knives is basically his energy.
∙ He's pretty flexible and cannot just reach his toes, he can press his palms flat on the floor with ease. Cat reflexes maybe?
∙ He would be a god awful partner romantically because he doesn't easily share compassion with others, and loves himself. Still, he's crushed on by a few...
∙ Perhaps he is similar to Megan from Drake and Josh, an absolute nightmare of a smarter younger sibling.
∙ He has a pretty weak stomach, maybe it ran in his family, so thrill rides that make his stomach turn are the worst. He's careful with his food too.
