About
Janus wasn't "adopted" as much as he was found. His mother prayed and prayed to be able to have a child, and within the week of her begging the gods for a son, underneath the magnolia tree in her backyard, a small, silent baby was found. He didn't cry, he didn't kick his little arms and legs to be held, he was just...silent. Sleeping. One could say he looked angelic. As he grew up alongside Dmitri Ivanov in the small town of Bashaw, Wisconsin, he kept seeing more and more "things". Creatures of the night, monsters, ghosts, spirits, you name it, he's seen it. He would answer little prayers for his mother unknowingly, but soon enough, he caught on to the fact that he could will events and things into existence. If only he could will away the horrors he's seen. At age 21, Dmitri left Bashaw and decided to open up a small flower shop in another town. Soon enough, Janus followed. He thought he was safe, enjoying his quiet life with Dmitri until the locals claimed to see hellish beings, the ones they would only see in dreams. It was soon after that, that Janus began to see all of these horrors for himself.
