Most would avoid it the best they could, for as long as they possibly could, but in my line of work, it’s a daily occurance. Some might find that type of life miserable, or full of hatred for the world. Me? Well, in my perspective, it’s a way to survive. Is that so wrong, when I’m not the one making the true choice? The truest monster is the one who covers the paycheck.”
Odilia Vadas is a woman well-renowned for her capabilities as a gun for hire. Having been trained from a young age by her parents, with her father having been a rather skilled bounty hunter and her mother a rather elusive member of a spy ring for the elite, Odilia was able to quickly master all the skills necessary for an assassin’s line of work. She was able to flourish in her craft under the watchful eye of her parents, honing her skills into the skilled marksman she is today. She is highly sought after when there’s a problem among the elite that might be best solved through.. Less than savory means, and she is well aware of this, and uses it to the best advantage.
About
Despite having quite the unusual childhood, Odilia would never say that she regretted it. She grew up with parents who cared very much for her, and just wanted to see her thrive, and knew that training her into the business would do her very well in the future. They were both right and wrong. Odilia has had ups and downs in her line of work, but the lowest she’d gotten was right after her parents died. Their connection had finally be discovered, and so both were used against each other, with the two of them eventually both being executed by their captors, which drove Odilia into an uncharacteristically violent rage. She swore revenge, and made to act upon her promise very soon after, getting caught up in her emotions to the point of not doing enough prior research on her targets. This proved quite the crucial error, as she was quickly taken down and taught a lesson she wouldn’t soon forget- the cause of the scars on her face and the disfigurement. What her- and formerly her parents’- captors did, however, was their fatal mistake; they took this mistake as a sign that she was weak, and didn’t make certain that she died. So as soon as she was recovered, she went after them once again, this time with the correct level-headedness and preparation, and this time, she was the only one to walk away from the encounter. Since then, she’s kept it clear in her mind that she should never let emotions get in the way of a job, and she’s had a perfect success record ever since.

[ Lovers ] During her darker times, where Odilia’s heart was full of loathing, she went to a high-class gala at the behest of one of her return clients. There, she met one Arabella Estrem, the apparent host. After a small chat that extended to a long conversation, it was clear that the two hit it off. Since then, Odilia has benefitted from the ‘power couple’ aspect that the both of them have… also the love and care that the other woman dotes on her with, but she’d never admit it outside of closed doors.

Trivia
- Odilia is actually not ashamed of her physical appearance- it’s a reminder to her on her former mistakes, and an intimidation method just waiting to be used, and also helps her dive into the type of people she is interacting with.
- The one type of job that Odilia refuses to take is child murder- killing the elderly is one thing, they’ve lived their life and become the person they inevitably become, but children are, for the most part, innocent. There is no honour in killing them.
- Odilia actually named her rifle after her mother’s maiden name, Knox, in her honour. Though, few people actually get to find out that she named it.
- Her name is actually a germanic name meaning “wealth, fortune”, and is also the name of a saint who was born blind. Her father’s surname, which she inherited, is based on the occupational title from Hungary meaning “hunter”.
