- since learning to walk he's had a fear of falling (from any height), but as it's gotten easier the fear isn't quite as bad

- when he was a child, he would ask Gray to tell stories about princes and 'handsome knights' (he would sometimes draw these characters and show them off to Gray later)
- went through a phase in his childhood of trying to copy everything Gray did (clothing, accent, the works)
- has a small blue teddy bear, handmade and given to him by Blade (it's stuffed with sand, so he doesn't carry it around with him, but keeps it beside his bed)
- likes to surprise Blade with kisses on the cheek/forehead or hugs from behind (he has to be careful of Blade's dorsal fin, though, which sometimes gets him found out)
- doesn't try to keep Blade all to himself (he sees his father behave that way sometimes and doesn't like it) but he does get a bit upset if he thinks Blade is having fun without him
- misses Blade's company when he's being 'borrowed' for other work, sometimes spends hours watching his phone in case Blade has a break and gets a moment to text (if he gets like this he's usually encouraged to put the phone away and spar to pass the time)

- also worries about Blade's mental state - usually he can tell if something is wrong but when he asks Blade just says he's alright (he knows Blade gets a bit upset about Sabre but there's not really anything he can do to help)
- has had feelings for Blade since his early teenage years - though at first it was just a little crush bc he thought Blade was attractive and they didn't properly meet until a while later
