Anion's Links
Act 1: Anion married Coral for her puns, the one thing his life was lacking before. They had a child together, who went missing.
Act 2: After finding their son, Anion and Coral failed to connect with him and were quickly dethroned. They've remained close in their detainment, her entertainment being enough to get him through the day.
Act 1: Anion is Coral's husband. She chose him for the power it gives her, but she does genuinely like making him laugh.
Act 2: Coral took as much advantage of Anion's apathy as she could, but it wasn't enough. In prison, she has little more than him and their friends, so she's appreciative of the company.
Act 1: Anion's son Maria was kidnapped as a child. He apparently goes by Tsunami now, and has been living in a shit house since whatever "the Accident" was.
Act 2: Anion put in little effort to get to know his son, more interested in the parties surrounding him. He feels as though judging him is "over his head."
Act 1: It is revealed at the end of Part I that Tsunami is Anion's son. Having been aligned with anti-monarchy movements, this is doomed to be a complicated relationship.
Act 1: Cation is Anion's best friend forever. When not around him or Coral, Anion is cranky. Only interested in joking around, they left their duties to their wives.
Act 2: They partied together to the end of their reign, which was marked by being captured and showcased in a "zoo." Anion does nothing to convince Cation that it was not an excellent thing to happen.
Act 1: Having been raised alongside each other, Cation and Anion are best friends. Sharing the throne was always easy for them because all they want to do is hang out.
Act 2: Cation's optimism has yet to run out, much like his friendship.
Act 1: Anion thinks Asbestos is boring. All he cares about are the puns Coral makes from his name.
Act 2: All Anion knows is that Asbestos was nowhere to be found when the rebels were attacking, which he's pretty sure that he's fired, wherever he is.
Act 1: Asbestos thinks Anion is stupid and useless, but still accepts him as his boss. It is his birthright... apparently.
Act 2: It had been a long time of having accepted his life could be lost for the monarchs when Asbestos fell to earth. He is not sure what to do without them.
Act 1: Anion almost just accepted his son being taken because Pearl always seemed so authoritative.
Act 2: Pearl's rebellion resulted in Anion's imprisonment, but he'd sooner harass whatever guard is overseeing him at the time about it.
Act 1: Pearl watched Anion grow up. He was always like this.
