He had a good childhood and when he grew old enough he moved to Massachusetts from Australia, (Which was encouraged by a freind of his, Ryan.) Of course at the time he didn't have a job so he mostly stayed in the woods. One day he stummbled upon a large lake, he stayed there for a bit until someone caught his attention. A merman who he talked to for a few weeks before he stummbled upon a house in some purple looking woods where he now lives. About a month later he and a few people from the house went looking around the forest, he again found the pond and a passed out merman. He convinced the people he was out with to bring it home, and from the time he woke up to now, he's developed a crush on the merman.
